Adult chat line bill - Telebilling

Has anybody in here had a result from TeleBilling? or pursued by them? Has anyone complained about them?

The feeling naughty part is what threw it for me and prompted me to google the phone numbers, which led me here. But if it hadn't said that I would probably have been tempted to call as I know people called Lisa and live in the 0208 area.

I hope nobody is getting sucked in to handing over any money.

Really worried about this lot.

Foolishly gave my address out thinking it was Virgin to arrange tv.

Started saying I'd used some premium rate line and owed £40. A while back I called a txt to try to stop them being sent as worried g/f would see them.

Stupidly I paid, even though I knew I was being done - I had orignally called the number (to no avail) and was just worried about bill being delivered and my other half seeing!

I didn't give any card details as thought this unwise but got their bank account and sort code and paid over the phone from my own bank account thinking this was probably bit safer.

Ok I'm now £40 lighter but thankfully a lot more clued up (usually I'm so careful, really annoyed with myself)

Will I get any more problems? The texts I can just delete. But will they have my bank details and if so will try to bill my bank account or address again??

Any help will be much appreciated.

I phoned on of the sim's, which are being run on Vodafone. After contacting both Vodafone and Tesco Mobile (my operator) and getting nowhere. Left a very angry message, and haven't heard from them since. Some regulator must be getting somewhere, as last time I tried to call to tell them where to go, no voicemail was operating.

My 10 year old son has just had this message on his brand new phone and im absolutely raging!! Im disgusted, this shouldnt ever be allowed to happen. Im deleting it before he decides to check it out lol

We had this carry on at work and after a reminder letter we had a letter saying someone was going to come round to discuss the non-payment lol.

my OH had been plauged by these text messages and they got saucier and saucier. good job we have a trusting relationship. the texts finally stopped after a couple of months.

what utter !!!!!!!s. wonder though if people who did pay up are guilty of secret calls to adult lines?

I think I will try and get my operator to block this number. Maybe go it a bit further with it. Does anyone know if you can get some sort of GPS on them? If I find out, I will show y'all.
