look in the ASA site a.k.a. advertising standards authority. and click onto adjudications and then scroll down and click on the date 19 may 2010 then scroll down and find the complaint by telebilling and click onto it for the address and information. im gonna send them a letter to remove my number.
Did they reply to your letter?

I imagine not... they didn't reply to the ASA either.

hey there evryone i have a contract phone with vodaphone and i have been getting the same txt messagaes from a +447887954782 giving me two numbers in the message one to call and chat the other for pics with an opt out number and company name of +18 telebilling. i contacted vodaphone and told them about the message and that it was not the first one i have had but i usually just delete them but i was worried that i eould be getting charged for getting the message in the first place.they have put some kind of bar on certain messages to my phone and have refunded me five pounds on my next bill so i will wait and see if i have anymore txts of this nature and let you know.they also rang the above number but it just cuts off so they must not accept calls on that line.
maybe we should get Ann Robinson and the Watchdog Team back on thier case as theses txt messages have to be harassment of some kind

A letter got returned to my dad today from telebilling, royalmail returned it to sender saying no reply at address. Googled the company and need to warn my dad, but will seem like I've been spying on his post, but I was just bored n nosey so googled the address on the front. He always seems to not realise when things are scams or ripoffs and tells me he knows best (I'm 23 not a child!) Hopefully hell listen or find this thread =) told mum to nag him too not to post them a letter or cheque, the more you correspond the more they'll bug you!

Saving for a year in Japan.
I need around £10,000. Help me get there!

hi guys this is sorted now contact asa. I don't receive any more texts. my mate has also stop getting texts. maybe the company has been punished by ASA for breaking their code of practice. so guys if you want to stop these annoying texts contact ASA.

As you know, we’ve been investigating your complaint about TeleBilling Ltd. We received confirmation from the advertiser today that your details were suppressed from their direct marketing database on the 13th June 2010.

Because the company had already processed your suppression request before we became involved in the case, we are unable to pursue the matter any further at this stage. However, if you continue to receive messages from this company in the future, then please do contact us again immediately and let us know.

I hope that this information will be of use to you, and I’d like to thank you for going to the trouble of contacting us with your concerns.

    Yours sincerely
