  • You could try tweaking mr be's califlower cheese recipe Cauliflower cheese, anyone? by the time you add the onion and pasta, the top it with a cheese and breadcrumb topping, you'll be surprised at how far it will stretch. My tweaking suggestion for you with the liver, might be omit the bacon and add some sweetcorn.

My Dad used to parboil cauliflower, and broccoli too for a change, then pan fry it off with snips of bacon, a bit of melted butter for flavour & walnut or hazelnut oil. It was lovely. In fact we still have our sprouts like this on Christmas day! HTH

    Hello,

I just found the most stunningly beautiful cauliflower in my local garden centre - it almost seems a shame to eat it! But eat it I must...

Other than the obvious cauliflower cheese (which for some reason doesn't sit very well in my stomach these days) does anyone have any favourite recipes for cauli?

    Thanks in advance :)

or if you got cauliflower hating kids - cook it well then combine it with mash potatoes.
or - blanch the cauli florets dip in that batter made with fizzy water and deep fry.
or - my veg hating son loves this - divide into tiny florets and serve with a dip - or in salad or stir fry. er - raw i mean or just blanched for a minute!

Add some finely sliced sweated leek and a little bit of finely chopped crispy bacon, form it into patties, coat it in flour and shallow fry.
