I am waiting for the washer man again. Its leaking all over the floor AGAIN. I pay new for old insurance and its only 3 years old and this is the 4th time for this problem in a month. I am so annoyed and hes not turned up and I am waiting to go out. I feel so frustrated today I want to scream. :mad:

I wrote to A & L yesterday to claim back 2 years worth of unwanted PPI I was advised to take. I know they have already been prosecuted and fined.
How long do these matters usually take to resolve?

They have been fined but only for telephone sales from 2005 to 2007. Did you send the letter recorded deliver?? They have 8 weeks for a full and final response so how long ago did you write and have you had any response from them yet..??

Also what dates were the PPI...?

Took out the loan in April 07, 1 year left on it. PPI was advised in order to secure the loan. Wrote yesterday but not recorded delivery, should I re-send recorded?

It is always best to send recorded delivery. Its up to you but if they do not reply they could say they have not received it and then you have wasted time...

Also always best for if you have to take this to the Ombudsman for proofs etc..

Wow he is doing well, he is actually a very intelligent lad, and was in a mainstream class, it was his anxiety that moved him into a smaller grouped class, which we had to fight for as he used to hide in the school toilets, even though we had to take him to and from school, for safety reasons, the school used to ring and say he was missing from lessons again... but the bullying never stopped and he was also on top of the class, wouldn't want him to go backwards.....:eek: , on his school report last year for year 8 he had the highest mark out of the whole year.....:T that is where his talents lie.;)
Also some other subjects he was top as well.

He does reading every day, very fluent, I am so just happy that my uncle is on hand for his maths, he is a retired maths and physics teacher, he was also head of school then went on to a professor to a uni before retiring, he also checks all his other work while he's here and is so pleased with him, yet not happy with the way things have been dealt with......at school...... , he cannot actually get involved with not living in the district either.....:rolleyes: .

His French oral speaking is excellent, and Welsh, top of those as well as school, Jamie when he comes in from work was also top of almost everything at school, and helps him out with the languages as well.;)

These are not compulsory for home ed, but he needs and has lots of English, Maths, Science and IT, will read everyday, and Art to end the day, which closes his day then to relax, until Jamie comes home and will sit with him for an hour every other evening to help with his languages as he enjoys doing this....:D
