got an email back from FOS regarding my two complaints about Ocean Finance.
It says they will be dealing with both complaints under one ref number, so hopefully they will both be seen by an adjudicator at the same time and resolved at the same time.

Brilliant news hun......:T , all the best with these and that is good to hear that both of them are being dealt with at the same time.:D ;) , keep us posted, cheers xxx

    Hi Marshallka & Di,
    Happy New Year !
We have just returned from a months holiday and had still not had the SAR back from nemo.We chased it up as it was a month over the 40 days and it arrived on saturday. There is no recording of the phone calls, just loads of paperwork !! We wanted the recording mostly as there doesn't seem to be anything relevant to our claim in the paperwork!
What is our next step? Should we just go for it and send the template letter?
    Thanks in advance
    K

    Hi Kazc

Hope you had a lovely holiday.;)

Happy new year to you as well hunni.

I see our Marshallka has responded to your post, and I would say to do the same as well, good luck and let us know if you have any further problems with these.;)

    Ok Here Goes

I Was Looking To Reclaim My Ppi On My Mortgage As I Was Paying £90 A Month!!! So I Wrote To Both Northern Rock And Pinnacle And Both Said They Had No Info On My Ppi So I Said Fine I Am Going To Write To The Finanicla Ombudsman And Cancelled The Direct Debit Monthyl Debit, Then I Put My Flat On The Market As We Are Looking To Buy A House, Then I Lost My Job - I Didnt Pass My 6 Month Probabtion - This All Happened Two Weeks Before Xmas - I Still Get Paid December, January And February Full Pay
So Today I Get A Letter From My Old Job Saying They Are Writing To Let Me Know They Have Informed The Tax Office I Have Endede My Employment With Them And I Have Paid X Amount Of Tax To Day
A Letter From The Mortage People Saying They Are Reviewing My And My Husbands Info To Get A New Mortgage And A Letter From Pinnacle Insurance Saying They Notice I Have Cancelled M Payment And I Can Re Pay Within Next 7 Days - So I Check My Policy And It Does Say If I Become Unemployed I Can Claim The Full Amount Each Month Up To 12 Months

What Shall I Do?? If The Mortgage People Find Out I Wont Get A Mortagge And....i Have Just Found Out I Am Pregnant!
Shall I Quickly Pay The Ppi Insurance And Then Ring Them Next Month And Tell Them Whats Happeedn But If I Do That Will I Not Get A New Mortage We Live In A One Bed Flat And Have 3 Cats So We Need A New House For When A New Baby Comes Along
    I Am Freaking Out!!!

Sorry to hear of your situation. Honesty is the best policy here, if you do not inform your lender of your change of employment then it is technically fraud.

Contact your PPI provider and adivse them of the situation, they usually give you 1 months grace before cancelling at your request.

Its a very tricky one, however if your lender finds out you have witheld information then they may file a CIFAS on you, which is basically a inter lender fraud system, preventing a further mortgage..

    Hello there

Firstly do not panic, you are pregnant and that is more important above everything else.

If you claim on the PPI then you will not be able to put in a claim for a refund of the PPI.

How long do you have to wait to find out about your new mortgage?

Do you believe you were mis-sold the PPI?

Hiya hun and please calm down, easier said than done I know.;)

Now did you end your employment on your own accord, or was it the company who finished you off because you did not meet the 6 month probabtion period?

If your insurances were still active:
Pinnacle is who we are with and I know they have restrictions on paying out, but if it were the company that finished you off and even if you did not meet the probabtion period, this is not misconduct.

You cannot help losing your job and these governments etc should act more fairly now during this credit-crunch/recession.

Now I do not actually know where you would stand on the mortgage front if wanting to buy a house, and maybe someone will come along to help here, or you could also post this on the mortgage help forum.

But yes tell them your situation as soon as possible, sooner rather than later, I'm sure they will be more helpful that what you think.

Also congratulations on your news of being pregnant, and stress is something you do not need right now, tell them that as well.

Good luck hun and I'm sure someone will have some helpful answers here for you or over at the mortgage help thread.;)
