Pompey, there is something here from the Competition commission about signing a seperate form when purchasing PPI
Since the into force of the Consumer Credit (Agreements)(Amendments) Regulation on 31st May 2005 an additional form of consent must be included in credit agreements to be signed by a debtor where a debtor is purchasing PPI.

My hfc loan is in joint names and im quite sure that im the only 1 covered on the ppi,
Will this make it easier to reclaim?0 -
Ok if I use this bit from the template, do I have to put in that I didnt realise it was to be paid over 15 years inc interest and that it was only for 5 years cover and that it was a huge sum paid upfront? or do I just send it like this? I am SO grateful for your help, thank you.
This is due to the fact that you have been fined by the FSA for failing to treat your customers fairly when selling Payment Protection Insurance and I do not believe that my policy was sold in my best interests.

Just ive noticed another issue regarding the Co-operative bank in that i have in my procession 8 agreements on on all those bar two the PPI is lumped on to the loan and ive since found out they are in effect two agreements and the PPI along with interest on that PPI and the payments for that PPI should be listed seperately.0 -
