Just had my post and nothing from Lloyds of London yet... I think I am wasting my time actually but just have to wait I suppose. I cannot seem to get this one out of my head. Its the Firstplus loan that I had an unfair rebate with. If they do not cough up (Lloyds of whoever!!) then I shall use petermb to go for the whole loan.. I know I am going against my principles but upon being on this site for the last year and battling for near on 12 months it would kill me to let them get away with it. Its was Firstplus that ruined everything for us and I want them to pay us back what they took from us.

The rule of 78 in the settlement of the loan was enough but using it in the PPI as well is even worse.

I just hope the FOS are as they could help in getting something back. I really need this again now... co-op money was to ease the pressure but over the next few months we will be back the square one.

Arn't you just relying on mishaps in the contract to make them unenforceable?

I don't know really, maybe thats it but I have fought for near on 12 months with this Firstplus agreement thing and the PPI and its outside the FOS jurisdiction although if it was within their jursidiction then I would win and I know it. FOS wrote to the the insurers for me as they say my complaint about the unfair rebate I received lies with them and not FIrstplus and this would come under compulsory jursidction.:D I just hope they have not lead me up the garden path as its worth a few grand. If I get nowhere then I will definately consider the other option although I really don't want to. I only want what they have wrongly taken and I would settle at that.
