The loan was taken out January 2006, I don't mind paying the £10 but I just have the issue that the loan was all done face to face and not over the phone.

    Cheers.
Thats good then as you would be able to use the FOS in getting the PPI back. It is your word against theirs but if you know what was said then just keep on at them. You need to get another letter to them and maybe hold off the SAR for a while, its entirely up to you.

Once they send out a final response then get the complaint into FOS if they do not agree.

Just don't give up. Most complaints for single premiums sold after 14th Jan 2005 are upheld as they are they are expensive and not in the customers interest.

It may be worth us giving them a ring. Can I just ask was your case dealt with the RBS as mine seems to be

Yes mine was too, any idea how we contact FSA?

Was yours dealt with the office in manchester. I will find the number for the FSA and post it on this site but it won't be till monday as I have to go to work today and tomorrow. Any help you could give me would be gratefully received. It is my daughters 21st birthday on the 25th of Jan so the money would come in handy for that. Although I do have some money put aside for her, it would be great to give her a little extra.

It's interesting because they have sent me a copy of the demands and needs form which they filled in for me and I just signed, I remember clearly stating to the advisor I don't want the PPi as it was and has been very expensive almost costing me the same amount of money as I've borrowed.

Then being told that I couldn't have the loan unless I went ahead with the PPi I feel angry and disgusted that the adviser has done this and acted against the law selling me something that I should never have been sold.

I'll send the stage 2 letter again recorded delivery on Monday and go from there.

    Thanks

I have found the number on the FSA website, yes I was dealt with from Manchester, how long is it since you sent your first letter & have you completed the FOS complaint form?

Has anyone contacted the media about Tesco PF & their dodgy dealings?

This is usual here in that they do not listen to your Demands and Needs.

They only think of their own...

Yeah, send the next letter and see how you go from there. I hope you win without the need to go the FOS.

    Good luck

If you could post the number up that would be great. I sent my complaint on the 6th November. I sent them another letter on thursday which they received yesterday as they have said they need more time. I am going to send the FOS complaint form off on Monday as I am now expecting to be told "you signed the agreement so tough". Sorry I must go as I have to go to work Keep in touch will ,catch you later. Take care
