Its the same procedures as claiming for loan ppi, if you feel you were mis sold the PPI then I would try to complain and reclaim.

Here is a link here that should help you with useful PPI information and also a letter template you can use to help, but add your own reasons and as much info as possible to support your complaint.

They have 8 weeks to respond in full, another letter maybe required if not successful first time round, or until they send you the final response and suggest the financial ombudsman service where they should also enclose a leaflet of the FOS with the final response, however, if they have not completed the investigation by the full 8 weeks and you have not heard you can then complain to the FOS.

    Here is the link here

Post by recorded delivery for your proof of posting and to keep a check on the 8 weeks they have.

Good luck, please let us know the outcome of this in order for us to help you step by step.

    Cheers;)

Hi Credit-Crunched and a Happy new year  .

That would be very helpful of you Credit-Crunched.

Infact I am also awaiting to hear from the FSCS regarding Twopart limited/Eloan.co.uk as these went into liquidation last May 2008 and the form was sent to the FSCS in June/July 2008, but I believe the investigations are not going to be that quick, also due to them dealing with "icesavers" etc.

    Cheers.;)

Yeah not too bad thanks, yourself?

Nit of a tough christmas as i usuallly like to buy lots for my family and friends, however the redundancy and current climate has hit me pretty hard, so it was a very quiet one.

Just been busy applying for jobs / interviews etc. Sadly the job prospect of a financial advisor at the moment is pretty poor...
