They said its going straight into the bank account and even read out the bank details of where they are going to - to confirm this.

Yes we rang our mortgage adviser, he said for us to call in the bank to see him direct in the morning, he said he will try to get this all sorted out for us.;)
Forgot to mention his JSA claim goes back backdated from the 5th Dec, as they pay in arrears sort of thing, so what he signed for on the 18th is that from the 5th Dec.
They do not pay the first 3 days even though its active as from the 5th Dec.
They also told my son that but then he got a GIRO cause of setting up the payments etc... I telephoned them and said that for doing 4 days work all this had happened and they stated that he would have had 4 days pay to cover him which would be more than the dole payments... It took him over 2 weeks to get things sorted again.

I am glad you are sorting your mortgage and let us know tomorrow what they say. They will be glad you got in touch..;)

If the terms and conditions say you have to make another 12 payments have you done this now to make another claim??

    Thanks hun
Sorry I am missing the point......:o I think but only 2 claims have ever been made and that was that of unemployment, since we taken out insurance with these.

Make a complaint about it Di and tell them you are doing so as this is missing data. I would be very annoyed if that happened but if its been delivered to them then at least its lost within their company and not elsewhere.

Yes I will make a complaint, I know its within their building but its not the point, they have mis laid this and we need it sorted out in order to get our entitlements, and still personal details, now I seeking our their complaints office address details.;)

Yeah but between claims do they say that you have to have made another 12 months payments to claim again. Most are 6 months I think or can be 12:confused: . If this is the case then even if it was only two months you claimed for it was still available for longer and that is how they will see it and you will have to meet whatever the criteria on their terms and conditions for making another claim.

Blimey, he had to wait long enough as well then ?

My oldest works for the DWP even though its the other end, he mainly works for pensions, but even he said they should have paid something out by now as this Thursday hubby would have been signing again, but this is to be missed as they are not open, so now he does not sign on until the 15th I think. But they have organised payments for them to be paid, the way its going this one will be missed, and get confused with dates on the forthcoming payments...... .

Tim from the bank is a lovely guy, lets hope he gets this mortgage business sorted for tomorrow, I will let you know and thanks.;)
I just hope we haven't left it too late as the payments are due to come out on the 6th.
    Fingers crossed.;)

I will have another read of the policy when I have 5, but going by this, as soon as 12 monthly payments have been made in a row then you have to wait 6 months to claim again, and even though its only 2 repayments, it would then have been August to have been eligible. But that is what we assumed at the time, and did not go ahead with it because of that, how silly of us not to !

I know what you mean though as we did not use 12 months in a row.

What hubby was diagnosed with in July was not pre-existing.
It was the first time for this (depression).

Yeah maxdp, one SAR is enough for any details they have about you. If anything is "joint" then both need to sign as they will not send anything about someone else in it if you have not done this.

I have had my curtains down and washed them and done a bit of spring cleaning and we have decided to knock the fireplace out tomorrow. Its a big job but my hubby is off til next monday so can spare some time for this. We are doing it all ourselves and making another. He is very handy at things like this and its long overdue. ;)

Oh Go Marshallka:T Do you have an open fire or are you installing one:confused: Best for these lads to be busy I think. By next Monday he will be ready to go back to work:rotfl:

No, we had a boiler fitted in september and at the same time they condemned the gas fire as when rain/hail was coming down the chimney it rotted the fire casing and fumes had been coming back in. We hardly ever use it but to have another gas fire in would have been a big job as the flues etc and pipes needed changing etc.. so we got an electric fire and plonked it in the hole where the gas fire went. The fireplace was in when we moved in and was wooden type and my hubby tiled it and made an hearth and it was red brick he did it in. It is long and not tall and also has two side shelves and I hate it but would have put up with it as you do. The fire we have put in looks a slight mess as it is short by an inch or so and we have decided to knock it all out and the side boxes and then we will have to have one wall plastered. Thats one job we cannot do but everything else, the fire surround etc (unless we do buy a ready made!!) is what we can do ourselves. A nice marble one is only about £300 odd now in the sale... so maybe buy that and then its a case of plastering, analgypta and wolloping over to match the rest. We have put it off for 13 years but have always had other things more important and I want SOMETHING out of the co-op money...;) .

Maxdp, I have had an open fire before and never again... It was murder for me and this electric one means we can leave a fire guard away as the dogs tail is safe...lol

    It says here
    Future Claims

    (a)
You may make a further unemployment claim if you have returned to full-time employment or selfemployment
for at least 3 consecutive months following the previous

    unemployment claim.
    However, if two periods of

unemployment are separated by less than 3 consecutive months of fulltime
    employment

or self-employment, we will treat them as one continuous period of
    unemployment

for the purposes of calculating the maximum monthly benefits payable, but no
benefit will be payable for the time in between.

    (b) If

we have paid the maximum monthly benefits for a single claim, you may only make a further
    unemployment

claim if you have returned to full-time employment or self-employment for at least
    six months.

What it is saying here (but is this what your policy says too!!) that to claim again (as you have already claimed for January, February,) you would have had to have been employed again for another 3 months from what I can tell. If your hubby went back to work in March and then went sick in July he has just made it but they would not pay out for the period when he was sick as stress/etc is not covered.

Di why was this a claim to Pinnacle for unemployment or sickness as sickness would not be covered?? Why do they want the doctors note then??
