Had a letter from the FOS today about the Redcats complaint ( no credit agreement and trying to default me even though I was still paying)

The complaint is going to be passed to an adjudicator by the 16th February (!) if not sooner.

I have no idea what they are going to do with this complaint I will just have to wait and see:D

Good luck with that one Pinknico, lets hope it gets sorted:D

I was right, leaflets........about SALES........ through the post, and a letter from Pinnacle to say they had not yet received the documents, so we checked online on the royal mail website on this tracking number here:

    DV056543484GB
And it was delivered to them on the 23 Dec and there's a signature.

Hubby rang them as its in his name and first of all they said they were still waiting for the documents, then he told them they did receive them on the 23rd and gave them the tracking number, they supposed to be ringing back, the thing is it takes 10 - 14 days after they have investigated, now this is not our fault, so really they should push this on a bit, they were even open xmas eve, they only had the xmas day and boxing day off.

Our mortgage comes out on the 6th Jan.

Di Hope they get their finger out and QUICK...........

Hubby rang them back up (Pinnacle) and told them we are waiting for a return call, they then said even though the docs show its been received on the royal mail website, its under investigation - as they cannot find them........all they have to flipping do is check the royal mail website and the signature, they have the ref number etc, then he said to hubby, to wait 3 working days !!
what are they playing at and what can we do from here ??
The mortgage is due to come out on the 6th Jan !

Good for you... Was this a complaint about the selling of the insurance or the fact they had no credit agreement??

What this about then Di?? Its not about the documents for the policy with Endeavour then??

I take it this is about the paying the mortgage whilst off work... Did you not ring the mortgage and ask for the interest only part of it and as this is only the £400 odd then you would have to put some towards it anyway so you could just pay the interest for a while. They cannot repossess for paying interest only... I thought you were getting all this sorted with the mortgage company when we all posted last week.. .

    Cheers hun.;)
    Yes its most pathetic !

Even though the main department is Cardiff, the documents are always sent to Bohamwood, we used the envelope they provided..... , so its a few hundred miles away...... .

I just emailed them from hubbies name to tell them its just not on  , and told them how the heck are we supposed to pay the mortgage, told them there are no sufficient funds to pay them and the bank certainly will not higher the overdraft...... .
Also mentioned about hubby's stress, this does not help and do not want him back on the sick..... .
They should have been responsible for these, as they did receive them !

I added the tracking number on here earlier, did you take a look hun?

No, not received anything from Endeavour yet.

Yes this is the one to pay the mortgage whilst off work (pinnacle), not contacted the mortgage providers yet, because we thought this would have been sorted out, as it should have been really considering they did receive the docs:confused: .

When I mentioned this one last week, this is the one we were waiting for to get sorted out.

Had a letter back from Monument today regarding the claim for ppi back, they answered with a two fingered salute, how very rude! :rotfl:

Monument claim that their Payment Break Plan is OPTIONAL and is not insurance. It covers for involuntary unemployment and natural disasters apparantely  mmmm so does the dole and house insurance ;)

According to them enrolment for the 'optional' payment break plan is determined during the initial telephone call to applicants as part of the standard application procedure. According to their records they contacted OH shortly before the account was opened on 29th January 2004 and as a result of this telephone conversation OH was enrolled in the optional payment break plan.

Also they pointed out that prior to our letter dated 8th December there was no contact regards to the payments on the account. Only a letter dated 11th August asking to cancel future payments.

This was because we had entered into a DMP arrangement with CCCS and was no longer eligible for cover as he had defaulted on account and was no longer meeting the minimum payments.

So in other words 'nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh you ain't getting sod all from us' was their reply.

Any ideas on what our next step should be? I have a £10 postal order at the ready to SAR them for that telephone application, weird as OH applied for his credit cards using the lovely invites that came through the letterbox! I can only think that they mean when you call to activate the card.

    Thanks in advance xx

    Hiya hun
    Sorry to hear that.

So it seems they are fobbing you off then ?

I did not think entering into DMP made any difference, hopefully someone can confirm this to you hun, you could ring the FOS head office to see what they think in this situation, just in case.

Do you require the SAR template hun or have you already prepared for that as well?

My head is in a tizwas at the moment regarding my mortgage insurance and can't think too straight......:o , so hopefully someone will come in to confirm this for you hunni, just to make sure your given the right help here.

If you do require the SAR template give us a shout and one of us will post up.

    Keep it going hun.:T ;)
