I have my GP appointment tomorrow, just my norm, in the morning for 9 am, first one in I hope lol........:D , just want to be in and back out again.:o

I am late eating tonight, everyone else ate their tea without me earlier as I carried on with some more wrapping, so gonna eat my tea now.....:p and back later.;) xx
Hiya Di. I have not been on much today as I feel too tired but my pain has eased on my rib a little. I was up again most of the night so going to call it early again in a short while.

Hope you go on OK at the docs. I would wear a mask though this time of year. I think that where I caught my flu from...I never had the jab this year or last year either as I thought they were short and never actually had the real flu before... . I will definately get it next year though...

    Hi all,

Update on my situation. My account was today credited with the full amount of my claim, completed under a month, thanks to the advice on this site. I sent my first complaint letter to First Direct on 18th November 2008. I am fortunate and hope and pray for the same success to everybody here.

Wish a Merry Christmas to all.
Well done to you and thanks for letting us know. Its so nice to hear something like this... :j

    Thanks for helping!
Just read through the initial credit agreements and all it asks is if i want the ppi, with the costs of it, but it says the customer copy is seperate. i know i definately don't have this anymore-nothing got kept when i was a student!it doesn't give any other ppi info.
The two cards i wanted to query were a dorothy perkins card and a new look card, , but i don't think new look have anything to do with G E Capital anymore who are now the people who are running the account. It DOES have the G E Capital markings and an address for them on both of the account agreements tho so would i be better writing straight to them rather then new look/dots do u reckon?

    Hi there and with pleasure.;)
Right the only thing here hun is if you pursue through GE Cap etc they will get back and tell you to do this through the ones who arranged it... ,and we do not want to see you go round in circles with this, there should be a "New look finance department", where we can check this out at some point this evening for you and see if they have a complaints dept who you can write to, as they should be able to provide you with a copy of the other document that was separate to this.;)

    Hi hun
Yes I bet you are very tired, I'm not at all surprised...... .
Have you been using a hot water bottle for your rib? I find that it eases the aches and pains, not too hot though... .

I'm the same, I feel I go to the docs just for my normal check ups and come out feeling as if I should be going back in again...... :o , but not a chance, like you - just want it done with and get home lol.....:D .

I've kept up with the Flu jabs and have been okay on them the last few years - fingers crossed, maybe you should have one hun?;)

    Hi hun
    No your not a pain lol......:D ;) .

Right I see, maybe its your only choice then is to write to lending bank here...... , Marshallka may have some ideas here, not sure if she will be back tonight now or not but I'm sure she will be tomorrow, or maybe if you contact the financer they may be able to tell you who to sort of thing, as I imagine they have had many queries like this.;)

    Hi Di

I just had a look through some paperwork , unable to find the T&C but identified it as Black Horse Motor Finance GAP insurance not PPI, guess this is a different ball game then?

Hi there sorry I didn't get back to you earlier, you can still write to the motor finance company hun as you still have a reason to complain.
    Give them a go.;)
    Afterall its still insurance.:D
