How do you remember??? I cant remember much about mine, just what I wasn't told!
Exactly but I do remember the relevant facts but it is putting them on the form in the right way. I have no doubt it was miss sold advised. Self Employed huge health problems (my Business Partner not me). Remember discussing all this but was told that that would be ok and we would be covered:confused:

Now know that was not the case. Information is hugely empowering.

    Hi All

    Di Have e mailed you;)

Marshallka Glad you are feeling better.

I need some info and wonder if anyone can help me. Somebody posted on here about "advised sales" and non advised sales. Was it one of you two and if so do you know the link. Would appreciate info about that. Am filling in my unmentionables and need to make sure I get things correct.

    Appreciate you help.:D

Apparently singlep says that prior to January 2005 all sales of PPI were advised as non advised sales did not exist prior to the FSA taking over.

    Hi hun
I have not got this far yet, but do have this to tend to when I get round to it.
I believe many have been successful within this issue with Lloyds hun, maybe worth also checking this out on the success forum as well.:D ;)

Thanks Di. Will keep you updated. I have sent email to FOS about my car loan. See what they come back with.

That is a very intersting document Marshallka as some companys are using the "non advised " excuse as to why they didn't give any information about the loan and just sent documents, and this aricle clearly shows this is not the case. Thanks x

Is that right? I have a case in 2003 that the company say was non advised?

I wonder where I can get clarification.

  • Hi There,
I'm looking for some advice pls, about 7 years ago I took out a hire purchase agreement with response for a car payment term 4 years so it never finished that long ago. PPI added onto finance package by salesman I wasn't asked about options regarding whether I wanted it or not as this was my 1st time doing this I thought you had to take it without the option. I realised a couple of years later you didn't have to take PPI you had the option an option that wasn't given plus I didn't know that you could cancel policy midway through agreement. I want to send off one of your templates but I need a copy of the agreement first. Would I apply to the head office of Response Finance asking for full copies of agreement and how much do I need to send them.
    Help and advice much appreciated
    Thanks Ron
