we were given no notice about this, they are most un helpful when we ring. they say the money will go back in but no idea when.
This is so unfair.
Do you think your local CAB will be able to help you through this, they will contact them on your behalf and try to resolve this for you.
And what a time they done this...... with Xmas approaching !!
If they don't deal with this I know the FOS are also able to deal with any banking complaints here, but again its 8 weeks for them to resolve this first.
I do hope they sort this out very soon for you, good luck hunni, I'm sure it will be.;)

Good luck hun, fingers crossed and hope you hear with a good result sooner rather than later.;)
I know they're not the easiest to deal with..... .
But if they do not resolve this for you, then complain to the FOS, they will then investigate this for you, let us know when you hear hun, so we can try to help all we can.;)

That was when they wanted further info.DearThere is a note on the business' computer record dated 20 April 2004 which says "LTR RECD FM CH RE PI. SNT POLICY BKLT. PI NOT CNXLD AS THIS NOT REQ BY CH."Do you have a copy of the letter you issued in 2004 and if not can you shed any light on its contents? Also in your correspondence you indicate that the credit card was paid off in 2004 and was not used. Is this still the case? If you currently use it, when did you recommence its use? Please reply as soon as possible and no later than 12 November 2008.Yours sincerelyAdjudicator

I did not receive a creditors form but I was directed straight to the FSCS.
How were you mis sold?
When we rang them up about taking out a loan with them, Picture only gave us repayment information which included the ppi so we weren't given a fair opportunity to compare the different repayment rates. Also they indicated that the ppi continued after 5 years by saying that the plan would continue monthly after that.
The FOS said that if we had been given the full facts regarding ppi then they thought it was highly unlikely that we would have taken it out in the first place. They also criticised the benefits of the ppi stating that we would never have benefited anywhere near the cost of the policy should we ever have needed to use it.
Hope that answers your question.0 -
