Nova can you tell me what you put in the POC for PPI reclaim on MCOL?
I have done charges but not PPI.
Hi pinknico,
God l had to think then what POC was but its ok l've rembered, l cant remember word forword without actually looking but it was ppi on a store card and it was along the lines of: sales assistant had no experience of selling insurance, being hassled at the till to sign up for something really quickly without given any privacy from other customers, or a chance to read anything ie small or should say miniscule print!!
Hope this helps, its quite daunting isnt it.We've done an mcol with ge money they defended and we got a copy but didnt get an allocation questionaire, and with all their fancy lawyers and their jargon dont really know what were supposed to do now. That was our sort of learning curve really.
Good luck

Total of loan-£6988.14
Intrest-£2341.86
Total to pay- £9330.00
APR-12.7%
60 monthly payments-£155.50
It has been worth the wait and the battle but would just like to know how much they should be paying out, Many thanks go to this forum and all the help that it gives to joe public !

Is GE Money for charges or PPI ?
GE money we did both! on one claim, didnt know if we could do this but did it anyway and they've responded to both. Our thoughts were that they may be prepared to go to court for ppi but would'nt be so keen to go and explain the charges and it looks like we could've been right, as their defence doesnt seem to mention a court date or time,as l've said before this one was our first one so we're learning as we go.

We had tried this too and again none were in stock,no refund though, maybe try Currys later, trust it to happen twice with yours as well...typical, this is why I think most have now gone to playstation 3.
Its annoying with the timing, with xmas almost here.......
My oldest uses xbox live too......
Will tell them on the stat rights !
Statutory rights are within the first 12 months though and this is two years old isn't it. If you had got another within 12 months then you could use them but as you sent it off to microsoft (which you do not HAVE to do if its within 12 months) then its now two years old so cannot use them.
My son was fobbed off when they told him he had to send it back but I went back to tesco with him and stated them and they refunded no problem..
If you subscibe to X box live then make a claim against the time when you could not use it too to microsoft.0 -

Hi hun
No will not buy another and yes will be coming up 2 years this Christmas so stat rights is a no.
However its now 3 years warranty on this its moved up to, was 2 years, but this changed, and it was only 6 months ago they had repaired it the last time, they have given the go ahead and will be collecting it in the week.;) Free of charge.:T
The only snag is it can take up to 3 weeks, hopefully it will arrive back in time for xmas.
Yes that's another thing is to make a claim on the xbox live, thanks for reminding me. x
Just found some info on Xbox 360 - flashing lights warranty.
On Xbox support site:
As of today, all Xbox 360 consoles are covered by an enhanced warranty program to address specifically the general hardware failures indicated by the three flashing red lights on the console. This applies to new and previously-sold consoles. While we will still have a general one year console warranty (two years in some countries), we are announcing today a three-year warranty that covers any console that displays a three flashing red lights error message. If a customer has an issue indicated by the three flashing red lights, Microsoft will repair the console free of charge -- including shipping -- for three years from the console’s purchase date. We will also retroactively reimburse any of you who paid for repairs related to problems indicated by this error message in the past. In doing so, Microsoft stands behind its products and takes responsibility to ensure that every Xbox 360 console owner continues to have a fantastic gaming experience.

Hi all. I sent off an SAR request to Welcome a while ago and all I received back was a list of telephone conversations. I challenged this and requested copy agreements, which they have promised to send. The loan was repaid in May 2001. They have responded today with saying that they only keep copies for 6 years. I am aware that this is the legal requirement. But am wondering if this is Welcome trying to fob me off. Is there anything else I can try?0

Hi there hunni
Hope your well.;)
Unfortunately yes it is 6 years they can go back, some maybe lucky to receive some docs/info beyond the 6 years, but is rare.
Did you find anything useful in the list of recordings?
Was it that only of a written list?
I may be wrong but generally I think they provide discs from 2005, unless someone can confirm otherwise.;)
Have you anything at all to do with the loan in paperwork at all? or were these destroyed by yourselves over the years?, as I believe some will shred thinking they will no longer need the paperwork. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
