Bringing this across to the correct thread lol.......:o

Feeling MAD at the moment, talking about passing the buck !!!
Received yet another letter just now through the post from HFC, what on earth are they playing at, so I have just emailed a copy to the FOS about this here:

    Dear Mr & Mrs XXXXX

    Reference account number xxxxxxxx

Thank you for your email to Mr JS dated 01 December 2008.
I write to advise that for the purpose of absolute clarity, it was Endeavour Personal Finance (EPF) who issued your rebate in regard to the settlement figure and not the HFC Bank.
In addition, I can confirm that we have not received any correspondence from the Financial Ombudsman Service

    Yours sincerely

    Department Manager
    Central Complaints Consumer Finance.
    .................................................. .................................................. .
Would love to know what HFC had to do with them then, as I have underwriters paperwork with HFC Bank on it !!!!

Ha ha!!! I'm the opposite - they write to me all the time. I send them more info to back up my case and I always get a very sweet one liner, "The information you sent has been added to your file". Charming of them!

Tee Hee, they are ignoring me now. I cannot understand that you get to the top of the pile five months ago and pay out some then suddenly they get busy.

Yet another one to bring over from the wrong thread......:o , thanks for your post Marshallka though and yep your right hun, it looks like this is going to be a messy one......

Right just received an email back from FOS about my post just posted above on here a few mins ago, here:
    Dear Mr and Mrs

    Thank you for your email.

I note that HFC Bank have advised that the complaint should be against Endeavour. As you already know Endeavour Personal Finance has fell under the jurisdiction of the Financial Ombudsman Service since 06 April 2007(we advised you of this under reference number XXXXXXX). We can only investigates complaints against the business if the event complained about occurred after this date.

I can only suggest that you return all relevant papers to me, including the complaint form. I will then be in a position to pass this to my assistant manager for a further decision on jurisdiction.

    Kind Regards

    Miss
    Consumer Consultant
    Financial Ombudsman Service

Di am so sorry you are having all these problems. I do not understand why it should not be endeavour you claim back from anyway. All my unmentionables are against the person that actually sold the PPI not anybody else. I know it is not the same cause these are quite complicated and mine are simple. Well on paper anyway cause I know who sold what etc. I hope this gets sorted for you soon. It seems they are all passing the buck. There is nobody out there who seems to have enough clout to get this sorted:confused:

Yes I am OK thank you. Still in shock really. He Died from Toxic Shock they think. He grazed his finger on a lock and got Streptococc infection. Well that is what they are saying. Post Mortem still to go. He was only in his 40 fit and healthy. No health problems. Makes you wonder doesn't it.

Have been keeping busy with paperwork but getting nowhere:confused: I think the FOS do not like my sense of humour. Oh well thats life.:rotfl:

Yes your right Max, they have us running around in circles, yet the Insurers of Endeavour state it is them of HFC who are solely within remit with them, so will send them back to the FOS as requested and see what the assistant manager has to say, I am expecting them to be returned again though...

OMG....... that is dreadful, and yes it makes you think........ , the post mortem should reveal all, but with him being so young and healthy otherwise, its shocking...... .

Been mad here with paperwork too, waiting for the copy of the insurance terms and conditions to come back, this should be some help to the HFC/Endeavour complaint - I hope....

I'm glad you speak up for yourself hunni, good for you.......:T :T , well done.
