    I will hun, I can't wait either.:D
I have a hunch another form will be posted to be honest, I hope so, even though I know its going through it all again.
Everytime though HFC are going back to passing the buck to Endeavour, just because HFC were covered and not Endeavour !

Saying that as they work out to to be the same company as they had dealt with before (the same group) then if you remember this was passed back to me, that is a bit annoying because each time it will end up with the same company, given the run around here to be honest.

 I have just received a letter from the co-op to say the money will go into my current account within 5 working days in TWO parts. It also says that

Please note that whilst no tax has been deducted from your payment, the interest is still taxable and should be included on your Self Assessment return. If you do not normally receive a SA return you should tell the tax office about any untaxed interest.

Then on the repayments it states that on the 2001 loan it includes £77.36 on the 2002 loan £71.38 and on the 2004 loan £100.93:mad:

I cannot believe this as no-one else has ever reported this...Input anyone..

They are saying we owe £250 to the TAX MAN for this....I am so blummin annoyed..
  • I have recived a letter from Northern Rock today saying that they cant find that I have any PPI through Pinnacle and so this is their final letter case closed! In the same lot of post I got a letter from Cardiff Pinnacle saying here is my PPI insurance document and they look forward to hearing from me!
Just wrote a letter back to Northern Rock with a copy of the PPI Sinrance document stating that i was mis sold it for a number of reasons and when I recently rang Pinnacle I was quoted £25 a month for my exact cover that I currently have although I currently pay nearly £90 a month!
Also I have just realised that although I had a Miss Selfridge/ Top shop card with GE money for years I went travelling for over a year and my nan kept paying it every month and I think I may have had PPI on that - I cant find any statemtns on it BUT I do have an Experian massive 100 pager Credit report in my files which I got last year woudl it be onthat and if thats the case do I just write the standard letter to them to claim back?

  • Sorry to butt in...

I'm posting in the slim hope I may have a chance to get some PPI payments back, but I think it's unlikely to be honest.

When I took out a personal loan I agreed to opt for insurance. They told me how much it would cost, and explined I could cancel it at any time.

I thought I'd take it and reconsider later down the line.

Since then, although my job was actually less secure I needed to cut costs and opted to cancel the insurance.

I was told the insurance was "front loaded" so although the cover would end I would still have to go on paying an amount each month to finish paying for the period when the insurance was active (and, as they explained, the risk for them was higher, than say, towards the end of the loan when the balance would be less).

Now I am fortunate to be in a much more secure position but it still riles me that I am paying the bank for an expired insurance policy.

I am fairly certain this front loading was not explained when I took out the loan and insurance and having been paying approx £80 per month while the policy was active, I now still pay approx £30 each month for the expired policy.

I can see the logic behind the bank's reasoning but I feel it was not made clear to me that opting for the insurance would cost me even if I cancelled it. Also I don't know what determines the "loading" - what's to stop them "loading" it even higher?

Sorry if this was a waste of time. Thanks for any help. I tried searching for similar stories but drew a blank so if this has been discussed before links would be fantastic.

    Thanks again.

What they are saying is that any interest that you receive in the form of statutory interest is TAXABLE. I have never seen anyone else have this put on their redress... also this is "goodwill". What do I do here???????????????????

    Hiya hun
Right so Northern Rock are stating no PPI was taken out then?

Can you now get a photocopy done of the Pinnacle certificate and send that to NR?
So the Pinnacle Insurance was to cover the NR loan then? Is that correct?

If you have received any final responses I would now go the FOS about this, get the complaint forms filled in and enclose copies of all correspondence to back your case here.

Have you requested a SAR from any of the other companies? (Subject Access Request)? in order to receive ALL information they have on the account from the last 6 years?

If not its worth sending one, if you have not already done this, if you have not and require a template for this hun let us know, we will know what is what once you receive the docs through the SAR which can take up to 40 days to receive these, as you may know they cost £10 cheque or postal order payment and you post these also by recorded post.

Please let us know hun cheers.;)
