Yes Marshallka good point, will give that a try
lol, yes its catching then lmao :rotfl:
Someone I know had 2 complaints about WF, the one was under FSA and he was first told by the FOS that the one under the FSA is the only one that can be looked at, they returned the other one, then this guy I know came across further docs in his SAR and realised they were under GISC before the FSA came into force, he sent the one under GISC back to the FOS with some evidence that they were under them, then the FOS agreed to look at the complaint, but still they should know this then for everyone......:rolleyes:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I don't know if this is any use to you here as you already know the complaints procedure but
Just take a look at the link here and see what you can add and delete to your letter. There is also a template letter for ease but sometimes it can be better to make your own up from this.
You then write to the firm that actually made the sale of the PPI to you if this is different from the lender and don't forget to send this recorded delivery so you always a proof and dates etc.
After that you have to give them 8 weeks for a full and final response. In this time it is usual to get a response of "sorry we sold this to you fairly" but you then respond to this and reiterate your complaint again. The next time they write they either give you a final response which you would need in order to take this complaint to the FOS or offer to settle.

Hi there
It is normally the ones who arranged and sold you the loan and ppi you have to complain to.;)
So if it were loanline hun, it will be them you write to.
Just re-send the letter you sent to GE Capital.
Do you have the address details of whom to send it to hun?
Right just edited to come back in to post lol.
I see our Marshallka has given you some good info here xThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
If anyone from the FOS is looking in we need an online GISC register to make it easier for us and ultimately easier for you too.:D0

The FOS should be able to confirm this to you hun.;)
Just to be sure but I know they were members of GISC date wise I did think it was 2001 but now it may have been 2003 come to think of it, but just to be sure contact the FOS. Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
