    Di - congrats on fab news from the adjudicator today!

    Just thought I would share my conflicting advice from FOS. By phone they have told me they will not deal with Welcome / BH from 2000/2001. I had forgotten I had emailed aswell and the reply came through today advising me to complete an online from as in certain circumstances they can deal with complaints from this time. Strange?! Well still waiting for docs from both these companies to get my complaint in with both first. (Not that I hold much hope, given their reputation!)
    I wonder why that is...:confused: .

    I believe the circumstances they are on about is if it was a Bank that was covered by the banking ombudsman in place before the FOS and also GISC..

    Yes I don't get them at all. I did mention in my email the institutions concerned. When I rang the girl I spoke to sounded like she didn't have a clue

    Yeah, this help line keep telling people that Firstplus were only under jurisdiction from January, 2005 and yet they were members of the GISC in November, 2001 so maybe another phone call and email and see which two match and when you do it again go for the treble..lol

    That's the year 2001, could not remember the year when they were under GISC, was looking OTR for this the other day, thanks Marshallka.;)
