PPI Reclaiming discussion Part III

Yes this is right, and you would think by them taking on new adjudicators things would get moved on a little quicker than before, okay they are over-run with these complaints but like what Marshallka said there should be more reasons of why they should look into peoples circumstances for fast tracking, not just for the ones on benefits.
I think you are right there Di. Just because somebody is on benefits it does not mean that they are worse off than those paying their way in life. I know some people need to be on benefits and I am not picking on them. It just makes me cross the huge amounts I have to pay, running a business, with no benefits, I pay my way and get no consideration or help. I am probably more in line for losing my house than those on benefits who do not have a house. I know that is a dicky subject but I have worked hard for what I have and I have to work blooming hard to keep it. It is not fair.:mad:0 -

Exactly !
If this was hurried then people would not be in that position of risking losing their homes, getting their money back can actually save this....well it will all help, the quicker the better. Then there is all the stress that comes with it and family arguments, it just goes on and on.
I agree over 100%.
It should be all or none in my opinion, they should be prepared to hear your reasons not matter what. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

my claim has been 11 months but you read on here some people say there has been only 4/5 months or less others like yourself di and marshallka seem to be longer i wish theyy would open up and say why this happens ,a friend of mine thinks it is due to the amount of complaints they have against certain companies and one have any views on this
After christmas the FOS is going to name and shame I think and all these companies kicking up a fuss will come to regret this me thinks.
I hope yours is sorted soon but perhaps you could nudge it along a bit. I have another complaint now about Firstplus in with the FOS and its not about misselling its about unfair rebate of the PPI and its been with an adjudicator twice and thrown back and now its supposedly having to go to the insurer and I have been told yesterday another few months. It went to an adjudicator first in June/july time so mine will be near on 9 months or more...0 -
marshallka wrote: »My latest complaint was very quick as the Co-op offered to pay as goodwill so it meant a quick result. The adjudicator did not have to uphold the complaint as there was already an offer. At first I was offered redress on one my loans out of 4 and then he wrote back and asked if they would "goodwill" the other 3. They did another 2 of them as neither me nor the bank had the details of the other. This meant that although the co-op paid me they did not lose any brownie points with the FOS.
