Thankyou for your response dated 26 November 2008 which I received today. I now enclose a letter from my university to confirm the dates in which I studied with them as a fulltime student along with a copy of my transcript from the institution which highlights dates and modules studied.
I am also enclosing a copy of the credit agreement you kindly sent me in your reply and have highlighted a section at the top which required me to confirm three statements by ticking the appropriate boxes. The boxes stated that:
1. I am aged 18 or over
2. I have lived in the UK for at least 12 months[/font]
3. My partner or myself are in permanent paid employment (minimum 16 hours a week), self employed or retired, or in receipt of incapacity allowance
All boxes remain UNTICKED on my agreement and should therefore have been queried by GE Money on receipt of my credit agreement. As mentioned in my previous letter (which I have enclosed for your reference) I told your sales representative in store that I was unemployed and in fact a fulltime student but they remained pushy and would not listen to my circumstances.
I am seeking a full refund of all account cover premiums paid during the period I was unemployed and a fulltime student as I was not covered by this policy and it was in fact mis-sold. As I believe I have been deprived of this money I also expect 8% statutory interest, the amount a court would award, to be added to each payment made.
I look forward to a full and prompt response to this letter and for the matter to be concluded within seven weeks or I shall be contacting the Financial Ombudsman to investigate my complaint
Yours Faithfully

If I were to complain to the FOS about the settlement figure from Nemo would it be unfair rebate or unfair settlement figure as I did not get a penny back in fact I paid over £2000 more than I borrowed even though I had made monthly payments for 14 months. The more I think about it the madder I'm getting as I just cannot see how this can be right0

i have decided to try to claim my ppi on a welcome finance secured loan, has anyone had much success with this company, i did try searching the site but couldnt really find much, also i took out a loan twice and both times the insurance was paid in a lump sum in the actual loan, does that make much of a difference. I think i will have a good case as the first time when i sent the form back i did not fill in the ppi bit and they sent it back and the second time i enquired about takling out separate ppi and the person in the office said it was unlikely the agreement would be processed without taking their ppi. Any info would be gratefully received, and pm's welcome.0
