Yes hun, looking more hopeful - although I do not know what to do about the amounts with interest.....

Oh yes, I rang the moby one and she said there must have been some confusion and thanked us for confirming this to her......:D
For the interest just go onto the bank charges reclaim bit here

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/bank-charges#interest

Put in your amount and dates and it adds on the interest automatically.

    Hi

We have had 8 loans in the last 5 years they are all paid off, not sure if we had PPI or not although we probably did i also do not have any paperwork for the loans is there anything we can do?

    Thanks for your help
Sometimes a company will charge you for the copy agreements but they have to supply them under section 77/78 of the CCA and they have to supply them in 12 days. If you are requesting them all maybe they will do this for just £1 or they may ask for £1 for each. I got all mine for free from my bank.

  • Finally i think we have a breakthrough with NATWEST!
today was their 8weeks up (after 2nd letter) so rung them yesterday, and was told that they would be contacting my by letter soon, they are unable to find anything that they need for our loan (they have lost all info) and they are going to uphold it, i asked what that means and was told they are going to offer me a lump sum as compensation!

Anyone else had this happen to them? obviously if its not as much as my PPI was i will want more.

but hopefully getting nearer to the end. :j

Wow, great news for you. I take it you are accepting it.. . let us know if you are undecided and how much etc against the PPI amount and interest. You might have a case to barter for it...

    This is good news.

I don't know if you saw the pannorama programme last week I think it was, but there was a young couple on there who had their hsbc loan written off because hsbc lost the credit agreements and everything.

It seems the ball may be in your court here. I would check out what exactly you are entitled to in this situation. They are supposed to give you the info you request.

Good luck with this you may well get more than you thought. They have been naughty here by losing your info.
