need some help here with a good letter that will knock them flat. and will send a copy to the FSA.
When did you send the letter requesting for the breakdown hun?
Was it an SAR (Subject Access Request), if so they must comply within 40 days of the letter, this costs £10 but they MUST supply this or this can be reported to the Information Commissioners Office, if you want to know more about these let me know hun, of if you require a SAR template etc, cheers.
I know its none of my business, but if her hubby is earning less now, maybe working tax credit may be of some help for them.
They should backdate so far as well to my knowledge. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Legally they have to send you everything they hold on your daughter. However they may only have info over the last 6yrs, they have 40 days to do this.
Did you send the template letter from this site and £10?:wave:0 -
Sandra here is an SAR template, you send £10 either by cheque or postal order payment, they have 40 days to supply ALL information they have on your daughter, even phone call recordings, emails, just everything.
Post by recorded delivery, this way you can keep an eye on the deadline of 40 days, hopefully they will provide this earlier.;)
This SAR letter can be used for any finance company.

morning,
i have waited 31 days for all documentation off blackhorse for previous loans & ppi, with nothing back. so on saturday sent a subject to access, enclosing a cheque for £10. recieved a phone call yesterday saying there was no fee for this but what information do i want. i said everything on the request, she then said they do not record telephone calls & asked again what information i required, same anwser. is this normal, or is this not complying to the request. feels like a control tactic to with hold information should i report this to the IFO. anyone had this happen to them0 -
Redcats were regulated by no one before 2005, your only hope is the small claims court. Also they had no credit agreement for my account ,no policy agreement and no recording of the alleged phone call selling the policy.
FOS may not be able to help but do complain to the FOS, FSA and ICO, as if the name Redcats keeps popping up then they will take notice.
Definately send a SAR , I bet they dont have a credit agreement for you, just a blank application form.DS1 12/10/04
