I know this is not ppi related but just been reading about babyP, felt like crying for him, its the first I've read about him. I nearly had to stop but couldn't.

I hope they rot in hell for what they have done. 17mths old not even the start of his little life really.

Its really horrendous what goes on in this world. How can anyone hurt babys and children, makes me feel sick.

Sorry to go on its really gotten to me

I'm with you on this hun, and how they can live with themselves I do not know, they deserve severe punishment for what they have done, what the h*ll is wrong with them ???

Thanks hun, I think it was because the adjudicator told me that lloyds had until the 12th of this month as a deadline, but maybe they asked for more time like these companies do...... .

What really annoyed me today was my letter I received from Lloyds, not sure if you have read it yet, but I emailed them back about 2 weeks ago to ask for a copy of my letter I sent them in 2004, which was a query about the ppi, and they said after 6 months they shredded the letter, as its a their policy procedure to do this, but I know they supposed to even keep these letters in case they are needed for the 6 years you can ask for, the thing is you see, they did not put the copy with my SAR I received a few months back and it would have been a help for my complaint I believe !

What you should tell them Di is "they are legally obliged to retain information for a period of 6yrs, after this time they can destroy the info". Not after 6mths regardless if they told you they would shred it after 6 months or not.

Its part of the data protection act, freedom of information. Yes I read your letter on here, was catching up with the posts

I have never heard of a company stating that before think they are trying to pull a fast one and stall.

Give them a kick up the A**, bullseye :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • Hi, I am starting to put together all my MBNA statements which go back to 2004 to the present day. All this time I have been charged PPI and now I want to claim it all back. Can anybody give me some advice, if I have ticked the original box which says I want PPI insurance included, does this mean I won't be able to make a claim?
I have nine credit cards, I think 5 of them have PPI, should I try to claim from the rest of them?
Thanks for any comments and advice.

    Hi

In order to re-claim ppi you have to prove it was mis-sold. If you check the homepage click the red tab "reclaim £1000's" scroll down, there is a checklist you can look at to decide in which way you were mis-sold.

Did you tick the ppi box?

Good for you Di, don't let them tell you rubbish. Yes I'm sure the ICO won't be too happy with them. Good thats what they get.

In my job I've quoted the keeping of info lots and we do keep it for 6yrs or sometimes more microfiche. Never shred before this time.

I know, Its funny how things like this affect you when you don't even know them. Think even if you have no kids its still affects you. Poor little thing. Got these horrible pictures in my mind about him.
