I'm having a thinking moment here:

In my sar I have 2 signed copies of credit agreements, one originally as discussed for £449.57 per month another for £494.75, the £494.75 is the one that was processed for some reason? trying to figure it out
Did you actually sign both of them then??

This is so confusing. Have you asked them why??

Mine Firstplus one was put before an adjudicator to look at as to if I actually had a complaint within jurisdiction cause I kept emailing asking them daily. I have spoken to the person who is writing to the insurer and told them that my mortgage goes up next month and all the rest but I was again told fast tracking is not for this reason. Its about life and death. Its what I always get told. . I wondered just how hard up you had to be to be able to claim fast track... I bet if you looked at our income and then took away the mortgage and it was able to be looked at this way then we would certainly be able to claim in the fast tracking. So annoyed that we are not looked into as "hard up". It should go on what you are left with after paying for where you live. Remember our mortgage is so high cause we put the firstplus rip off loan on it in the first place.

    Yeah that's right.
I agree with you, especially when it comes to paying out a huge mortgage.
How long ago was it now since they wrote to your insurers?
Hope you hear soon with some good news for a change.;)

Just been trying to work out if this was in fact the amount of the repayments with the PPI and without the PPI.

The difference is 45.18 per month and your loan was over 240 months so it works out at £10843.20 so not the same as you paid...

They have not even written to the insurers as on Friday I spoke to them and she told me that Firstplus still had not replied with who the insurers actually were...

Then they have to write to them and then give them 8 weeks to reply then 12 months in the queue (cause we cannot get this fast tracked) and this has been with the FOS since May of this year...

    Its so unfair...

Marshallka just for the sake of it shall I ask my mate if she knows who the insurer is?
Saying that I think she had taken her's out in 2005 with FP, would they have been different then perhaps?

On the fast tracking part did they give you a reason of why they could not do that? Or is this because if you asked on one you cannot ask on others ?

Its been 6 months then ? that is not fair at all !!!

  • Hi thank you for your reply and i will contact them asap
I think i would prefer the cash as they have taken it from me but anything anyway is good so will see what they say.
Once again thanks for your help and will certainly keep checking the site for more useful information as without it I would not have known about the PPI

Each year was someone different. I have asked the FOS about this and also written what Firstplus told me of who the insurer was and she told me that she has written to them and I need do no more and that they will find out for me. Firstplus told me it was Cassidy Davis I had to write to and I told this to FOS and they told me to leave it to them, which is fine but they have not even found out who it is yet. I am so annoyed as this seems to be going on forever.

Dreamers was different to mine so its all about which year etc...

I have had a questionaire about FOS from them about their service. I cannot write anything yet as I feel too annoyed.

If you did not have any choice like you are saying but cannot prove it then perhaps requesting a SAR from them would prove this.

This is all the information that the company hold on you and its cost £10 and they have 40 days to comply with it by law.

Were you sold this by a broker or the loan company themselves...

Thanks, I have just filled out a letter requesting SAR. The PPI was sold to me by Mint/RSB themselves. Do you think that £2319.72 is a lot to pay for PPI on a £10,000 loan over 5 years?
