Hi just wondered if i could make a suggestion for this forum. Would it be easier to have threads on the different banks so there all in one place. It would make it easier for people who can share there experiences from that bank on the same thread0

Hi Dave.
Yes I know what your saying and its nice to know if someone else has the same issues and you know where to find them, its a great idea, well thought.;) :T
If you wanted to you could PM Wendy who introduced this actual thread who should get back to you on your idea.
Well done Dave, and if you decide to PM Wendy as I am sure she is open to any idea & suggestions, please let us know the outcome of this, thanks so much and thanks again.;)

Another poster on CAG has been told that Firstplus is being investigated as a whole but is also still looking at individual cases.DS1 12/10/04

Hello all,
Just had a really rubbish year as our house was flooded in the floods last summer. We are finally home and I am wanting to get the rest of my finances in order. PPI claiming being the first on the list.
I have a number of credit cards with PPI on, I have been a stay at home mum since sept 2005 previous to that I was on maternity leave for a year. previous to that I was on sick for maternity related illness for the whole pregnancy. Most of the cards were taken out during that time although the LLoyds tsb one was taken out whilst I was working. I have been trying to read through the thread to get an idea of where to start and how much of the ppi I can clam for.
I guess I will give it my full attention in the morning when the kids have gone to school. I just needed to do an initial post as it is my way of starting the process. Makes me more focused (as if the amount of money does not do that!)
So hello all.

Hello Em
Sorry to hear of your disastrous year. If you go to the Red Reclaim 1,000 tag you will find a template letter on there with some reason why you may have been miss-sold.
You will need to send a letter to each of your providers with £10.00 cheque requesting a SAR. You will need to sort out why you feel you were miss-sold.
Send your letter to your provider recorded delivery (just to make sure they get it).
Have you claimed on any of these ppi? If so then you cannot claim.
If you need any more help then please post again and am sure somebody will be able to help you.:D:mad:0
