Hi Thanks for that. I was not questioning your integrity it is just that sometimes people take out PPI knowlingly and then try and jump on the bandwagon. If you follow Di instructions and have a look at template letter and sort out your reasons etc. I will try to work out figures for you.
Am having to pop out but will be back in later so will post up then. Or alternatively am sure Marshallka will be on some time today who is an absolute whizz at figures.
Take care:D
Hi if you have paid 19monthly payments of40.62 which is the ppi element including interest I make it 771.78 is what you have paid so far. See what they offer you back when you cancel. This was obviously front loaded and would effect the whole of the Loan.
They will ask you to reschedule the loan if you take the PPI off. That is quite normal and they should make the new rate less than or the same as the rate you are now paying. If you put the figures on here once they give them to you am sure somebody will be able to check it out.
You should get the whole PPI element plus PPI interest plus 8% taken off the loan and see a reduction in your payments.
Good luck:mad:0 -
Had attempted with the first two letters earlier this year and still got fobbed off, didn't take it to FOS or anyone else, because I felt low after being fobbed off, basically two sepertate loans from them, both settled early, but PPI was single payment added to loan amount at start, didn't even know we had them, when we searched through paperwork, the first one, had a tick in heavy bold pen, and our signature was light and signed for by us, tick was obviously not ours! 2nd one was similar but was given after a series of questions to see what we would 'wish' for, but we weren't told we were getting the PPi, I was advised in my letters from them that we had signed for PPI although at the time we were only told by the person, sign at the 'x' for the money and it will be in your account tomorrow.
Does anyone think I could still chase this up or is it too late? Thanks to all the competition posters.0 -

It can be so depressing when this happens. Please carry on and do not take no for an answer if you can prove it was mis-sold, companies always seem to send thes letters out in the hope you will go away, but don't.
Have you requested a SAR? And when did you take out the loans? sorry I've just seen this info:wave:0 -

You could still send your complaint to FOS if they were members:wave:0 -

Hi there
I would start again and explain you did not pursue further because of personal reasons.
This way if they still do not uphold your complaint you can still try by taking this to the FOS.
Who was the loan with hun?
When did you take it out and settle ? Thanks.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

this is actually meant for Smitchy lol.
Hi there hun
Not sure if your read my above post yet, but anyway like dreamer also said start again, you have your own reasons of why you did not push further at the time.;)
Get another letter into them, and I take it you know the procedures from there then, the 8 weeks they have to respond and give the final decision before taking it to the FOS.
If you could let me know who the loan was with and what year I can check these out for you, cheers.xThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0
