PPI Reclaiming discussion Part III

I got mine from Amazon for about £66. Its a Phillips one, it seems a bit plastiky but it had very good reviews on several sites, and it works really well. I wouldn't be without it now. There are more expensive ones but unless you want it to sing and dance too I can't see the point! It starts to gently light up half an hour before the alarm goes off (uses 100 watt soft tone bulb) and brings the body out of the sleep stage. The alarm itself starts very softly and increases over 1 & half minutes. Thoroughly recommend it!

Marshallka my post the other day what do you think I need to add to it:
According to the mcol website 8% is as follows:
PPI amount x 8% divide that by 365 gives you the daily amount.
In my case
£9796 x 8%=£783.68 divide by 365=£2.15 daily amount
365 x 4yrs=1460 x £2.15= £3139.00
£9796 + £3139.00 =£12,935.00 total ppi including 8%
Does that seem right and do I have to add anything else on?:wave:0 -
Have you tried a daylight alarm clock Marshallka? I have a lamp too, which is good, but I bought a daylight alarm clock a few weeks ago and it really is great, I am waking up properly now, not taking most of the day to emerge from a fog!
I need both, a lamp and one of those daylight alarm clocks, my family do not understand why I get so down this time of the year........
Good news owlet about the clock too and happy to hear its helping you.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Crikey, you weren't joking lol. My little life saver is here:

But I didn't pay anything like that for it!! The bank balance won't allow it. I can take it away with me when I go to visit the family though. I have the need to hibernate all through winter and I feel sooo tired and drained, It is horrible. Then as soon as the mornings get brighter & we have sunny days I'm rearing to go again!SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65
SPC 9 (2016) #485 TOTAL £84
SPC 10 (2017) # 485 TOTAL: £464.80

I often went through this, but my older son now has his own, he has got one of those that connects to his TV, so this lappy is now just between myself, hubby and my youngest, although hubby will only spend time on here playing cards lol.......:D , my youngest son is always checking out funny stuff on youtube.
He tends to repeat them though....... , funny clips he plays and laughs so much at them.......:rotfl: , as you know he has special needs and the way he is if he sees that someone has fell and hurt themselves he cracks up.......:rotfl: , like with me the one day I was rushing around instead of opening the door I walked straight into it "ouch", it really flippin hurt, but Daniel just loved it.......:o , lol.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
marshallka wrote: »I am not sure how you have worked this out.. I know you paid the full amount and had a small rebate against it...I only know the way how tiggrae did them but I tried that with yours yestersay and it did not work that way. It would mean that you have paid a lot more than you actually did. The settlement figures you gave just did not add up at all. I really don't know what to say on this one as I am confused by the amounts...

Mcol shows you how to work out the 8% stat interest. But when I was looking through my SAR today, theres a bit of paperwork with the settlement figures on it and also the monthly payments made, there were 22.
I was foaming looking through it we got a loan for £40k the debt did not come to £40k then they gave us a cheque from the £40k for about £1200 to make it up to the £40k, so when you think about it that £1200 we were given was being paid over 240mths, can't recall why this was done.
Other things aswell like case always "pending" then app dissaproved then manual accept? Don't know what they have done here? The notes show also that the monthly payment went up every single month.
I don't know what else you would normally add.:wave:0
