Hi All, God thats soo true, me and OH were trying to keep our probs under wraps away from our friends, then a couple of weeks ago we got together with these friends and told them about our struggles, and they all were bending over backwards to help and we felt so much better and had a bloody good night out as well, thats why this site is so good, we can all help each other.
Heard from mcol today they've acknowledged my claim, so now have to wait and see if they defend!! OOO it's nerve racking!!! Will keep you posted,l dont know if anyone has actually ended up in court or whether the companies give in at the last min, (l hope so, l've got nothing to wear for a court appearance!!!:rotfl:

Might be me there soon  . Its very scary but I'm starting to think that this is the way these companies want you to be.... I wish you the best of luck.

I know its so expensive to run a dryer but convenient, I'm kinda lost without it, been using my radiators.
I always do but it fills the windows with water by morning and my daughter has black mould in her bedroom due to condensation.... had to start using the dehumidifier and the dryer of course. I would miss it for my bedding and towels... I don't know how I managed before, went 15 years without one... . Cannot imagine that again...

What I can't understand is why are they investigating it? I know this sounds stupid, but I had a final response before and did expect them to tell me get lost

I think the last time I complained about the way it was sold ie no verbal info given. Now I have headed it mis-sold.

I bet they have not even looked at the letter properly and just added it to the pile to be dealt with...I would imagine they are just following the FSA treating customers fairly until they have to pay you back then the story changes. Just hope its not a standard letter back to you.. I bet the court case is really terrifying you:eek: . You need to see it through though as you have proof as this misselling in the telephone convo so can't see as you could lose here. If you get a chance in court how could they say it was sold fair???

Have to take a look at them... do they need to be vented though. My drier is in the washer as one and not a vent drier either:confused: .

No vents needed for condensers just plug in and go... they have a water container built in and it stores the water from drying, just needs emptied when full.
