Hi everyone,
you may or may not remember me asking for some advice just before christmas with regards to single premium policy that we took out with our Halifax loan. We sent a letter to them on 30/12/08 and today received back... Shorter version
Having completed an investigation into the sale of your policy and considering all of the complaint points which you have raised, i have concluded that the policy may not have been appropriate for you and u am therfore upholding your complaint
We're just waiting for a letter with the exact amount to be paid to us!
Also we're waiting on HFC to send us the letter with all our account details so we can look at that one too.
Thank you all so much for your help & advice, the money means we can get some much needed repairs done to our car and house

Found this pinknico:
Liquidation is the process of converting all assets into cash. Proceeds of which will be used to pay-out its obligations in the order set-out by the standards/court.
Dissolution means to end the legal entity. To officially close a business.:wave:0 -

HIYA DREAMER,
I eventually got the chick who sent me a letter,
She said i needed to send a copy of my licence/passport for proof of id and address:eek:
I told her i didnt drive (lied)
My passport had expired(lied)
And why should you want to prove where i live when im asking for information about myself and not proof of where i know i ferking live:D
Why should i be asked a million security questions to discuss my a/c
But when i send a simple letter of request in they want blood:eek:
Upshot is they are now dealing with the sars thank ferk:D:j Let him who be deceived ,be deceived:j0 -

Thanks for the advice on reclaiming the charges BlackHorse put on the account. With regard to the PPI miss selling, my loan was taken out in 2003 with BlackHorse. I have been reading elsewhere that Blackhorse are a tricky company to claim from. Can somebody explain why please?
Thanks,
Andrew
Hi I have no claims with these but know of some having to go to FSCS to complain, MASMIT has a ppi claim going on at the minute if you search on other posts made by them they will give you some more indept reasons.:wave:0 -

Hi there. I do not think they are any trickier than anybody else really. They all seem to make it as difficult as possible. Which we must expect I suppose really. Why do you thik they will be tricky? Have you read anything over at the success and failure thread? That may give you more of an insight.:mad:0
