Yes hopefully, as you know mine was not agreed with at the first stages by LLoyds, so this is why its moved on to the next stage so they can look into this further, so fingers crossed it will all be done and dusted in a few weeks.;)
I know hubby's will take longer as that adjudicator said he will deal with his 2 lloyds cases at the same time.....fingers crossed for him as well.:D X

If you didnt even know you had this then that is a clear case of mis selling and that is all you have to tell them, they will do the rest. Just ring the number , say you received the letter, say you didnt know you had it so must have been mis sold. DO NOT ACCEPR AN OFFER OVER THE PHONE!! If they offer anything say you want the offer in writing and how it was calculated.
If they say they will look into it then follow up your call with a letter(enclose a copy of the one they sent at christmas) saying how you were mis sold just so they have it in writing. send recorded for proof of posting.

Well if it were them that wrote you to tell you this they must have records that you did have this.

Its not too late, they have already admitted this to you, and this was the actual company EGG that wrote to you was it, just to double check ?

yes it was deffo egg. it was in the same style as most of their mail.

i just wondered if this happened to anyone else - to get some tips before i rang up myself!
if i had this applied to my cc when i opened it about 3yrs ago then could be a fair amount of money i am due. i never had a huge balance on it but the little bits every month add up

will let you know how i get on. will prob call them over weekend if poss.

Helping on the PPI forum of course its been really busy here, you could share you PPI claims here too everyone is welcome.

How are you getting on with your claims then
