    Hi everyone

    Hope all is okay.

Incipience you have had me thinking an awful lot about what you said in an earlier post, regarding the broker and lender issues.

When you read it as you put it its very understanding and has opened up a whole new way of thinking. Thank you

Its like a library at my house lol, books everywhere, my son is reading out loud to his dad, he enjoys reading and very fluent as well, the uncle coming this afternoon for another maths lesson.;)

Maybe he could teach me the same time lol....:o :rotfl: .

Yes I agree with your dreamer, and I have been writing all this down as I go along, and it a bit of a relief as well, knowing we have not gone that direction with the complaints yet and there's some hope yet for some.;)

They say we learn something new everyday, Incipience is a pleasure to have here, I can only help with basic stuff, but would feel better if others could give their views as well, as I do not want to give the wrong info/help with their complaints, this is just through my own experience, and Marshallka was very clever here and on the mark with it always.;)

lol, I tend to leave them to it, and let them get on with it, I can always get my son to teach me sums when the uncle's gone lmao...:o :rotfl: .

I was only originally going to be here for a few mins in my break, but while their still reading right now, I am taking advantage, and the lady from Mencap has been a godsend as well to make sure things are being sorted out for him for his education.;)

  • Also, to avoid all doubt. My New Agency Law Book has come in and I think you might find this section interesting:

When an agent, acting in his capacity as agent, makes a contract with a third party, he neither becomes party to the contract nor does he incur personal liability. In the absence of special circumstances rendering the agent party to the contract, once contractural relations have been established between the principal and the thirdparty the agent drops out of the transaction.
  • Hi
I have a credit card at the moment and am paying £100 a month in ppi, i took the card out online in march 2004 and can't remember seeing anything in the application reffering to exclusion for pre existing conditions.

I am diabetic and not sure if it is worth starting a claim for the old ppi

    thanks

Hi I just wondered what sort of time frame I should expect from the FOS? I sent in my form at the end of Feb 2008 for my 2 complaints against Welcome finance, for the first few months I received a letter every month updating me but have not heard anything since?? When I call they say it'll be another month or so but they've been saying that since August lol.

    Cheers

I heard today that my case has been moved on to the "Adjudicator's Ombudsman" and they will be in touch soon, its the Credit Card Lloyds (PPI) one, as you know its already been with the first adjudicator but lloyds did not agree, so its pushed further on down the line for further investigation.

And the first adjudicator that was dealing with mine is now dealing with my hubby's, that was confirmed today as well, the "two of his with Lloyds CC PPI).;)
Last week or so they said they would let us know, and they did keep their word, so fingers crossed.

Thank you, yes this is very interesting Incipience.
