Not a problem.

Here I have a few address details, maybe one of the others on this forum can confirm here which one to write to: I think but not certain it may be the address in London..but best to make sure first, or you could ring them direct on the address telephone number added in the first address where they should be able to confirm this to you.;)

The Manager,
Service Quality Team,
HSBC Bank plc,
Arlington Business Centre,
Millshaw Park Lane,
Leeds,
LS11 0PP.
0800 881 155
servicequality@hsbc.com

Write to HSBC registered office at:

HSBC Bank Plc
8 Canada Square,
London,
E14 5HQ

To my knowledge HSBC were covered as from 2001, so the FOS can get involved, there are also other regulators that will be able to advise on what direction otherwise, such as the FLA, (Finanical leasing association), here:
http://www.fla.org.uk/fla/consumerfinance/Consumerfinanceoverview.riv

If you get a problem here, please PM me.;)

And regarding Credit cards etc, it works the same way as the loan PPI, so if you've no information its best to request a SAR, however if its just the agreement you require without all the other info, you can request for one of these directly from them and I think there may be a charge for £1 cheque payment, ask first by ringing them and they should confirm so you can then just ask for this in writing.;) And your very welcome - anytime X

I sent a £1 postal order di for mine,

They returned it saying they dont charge for it:eek:

Bless ya, please don't be sorry.;) :A

What year did you take out this loan hun?

Yes of course you have a chance with these and keep at them.

How far have you gone on this one in regards of reclaiming? I take it you've not started this yet but want to know the results of others?

Have you also checked this out on the success thread?
There have been success with these as well, I'm sure you have a good chance with whatever reasons you may have.;)

Hi, thanks:o
Took out a 5 year loan in Sept 2002 and in June 2008 I asked for the original loan agreement, but haven't done anything since.
It was a single premium payment of £1553.33 plus £620.47 interest on top of the loan.

Right hun, not a problem, like Boo said you may not actually receive the original just copies, but fingers crossed hey?;)

Now I believe that Barclays were not covered by either GISC where the FSA had taken over in Jan 2005, unfortunately if your complaint was not successful the Financial ombudsman service are not able to investigate these complaints, but some with the same complaint at the same time with the same bank as these are trying the FLA here
http://www.fla.org.uk/fla/consumerfinance/Consumerfinanceoverview.riv

Like I said to Zebedee, if you get a problem with these, please also pm me, but hopefully it will all go okay for you.

Now going back to the agreement, they should really supply you with "true copies" of the agreement as your SAR requests for this, if they do not you can contact the Information commissioners office and see what they advise you to do from here if you feel you did not receive all requested in the sAR, they should be able to have a look into this for you.
ICO here:
https://www.ico.gov.uk/Global/contact_us.aspx

We will take one step at a time in case of any confusion, send off for your SAR first if you want to do this and let us know when you receive this, we will then take off from there......;)
