Parking Ticket - Advice Please

I've received a parking ticket by a PCSO which I somewhat dispute, basically, I was double parked awaiting someone to pull out, this PCSO came along shouting for me to move as I was causing an obstruction, his words were “Move or I'll issue a court summons” I asked the PCSO not to shout or threaten me, at which stage he got his parking ticket book out and started to issue a ticket.

There was another vehicle in front who was also causing an obstruction, he had been there longer than me, when I asked the PCSO why he hadn't given him a ticket he said “Because I'm dealing with you” I asked the PCSO who call for a sergeant as I wanted an independent witness the ticket was justified, to which the PCSO said there busy and cannot attend.

This particular PCSO had another colleague along side him who also shouted for me to “Move it” again I requested him not to shout or be abusive at me in the street.

I was asked if I was going to accept the ticket, I replied “I refuse to accept the ticket until a supervisor arrives” he then wrote the ticket out and pasted it on my windscreen.

I did complaint to my local police station about the PCSO's behaviour and was requested to submit my complaint in writing.

Where do I stand with this ticket as I feel I was victimised because I requested them not to be abusive, the vehicle in front of me should have had a ticket first, I have that vehicle's registration.

The PSCO put on the ticket "Willful Obstruction"

I think you deserved the ticket 100%. Double parking does cause an obstruction.

Where you waiting for some one who was pulling out at that moment or waiting, waiting and waiting for someone who may be going to

when he said move it or i'll issue you a court summons why didnt you just move it?

In fairness you were double parked but i dont think much of the attitudes you had to put up with and i would definitely make a complaint. You may still have to pay the fine but it might stop the jobsworths attitude to someone else.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Someone was reversing out of the bay creating a space that I was going to go into.

I did, but I think he was a jumped up PCSO, he could see the vehicle waiting to reverse out.

He knew I was waiting for a vehicle to pull out so that I could go into that spot.

I was not "Double Parked" and left my vehicle, unlike what tinker above seems to think

See, that's what I love about this forum, there's always someone willing to support / advise other members when required, unlike those willing to have a stupid dig when it's not required, I guess they've nothing else better to do than troll around the foums.

    Once again, thanks Ham ;)

    Huh

I never done anything wrong, I never left my vechicle, I was waiting to go into a space that had just been created.

Anyway, I'd never thought about contacting my local councillor, great idea by Ham ;)
