nikki you are obviously more alert and switched on in the morning - maybe you should try to do more of your work earlier in the day when you can - by evening time you are too tired and staying up until midnight straining your brain is not working for you IMHO IYSWIM!!!!

Wonderous Wednesday - bathroom, study, pc room, loo
Level One
[STRIKE]Clear the floor of grot, laundry and gubbins
[/STRIKE]Empty bins and clean them out(did that today, bin day tomorrow)
Level Two
Wash down the tiles and windows
[STRIKE]Clean the bath, bog and basin (and the shower if needed!)
[/STRIKE]Wipe over the paintwork
Level Three
Wash mats, curtains etc that need doing
Clear the pc desk of rubbish and excess piles of junk
Dust any dusty places
Extras - You know you want to!

1. Delete 10 dead links from your favourites
2. [STRIKE]Delete some unwanted emails[/STRIKE]
3. Sort out coats and shoes.. and bags.. and brollies.. *FLING*
4. Fill a binbag of rubbish and throw it out!!
5. [STRIKE]
   
6. Take car for MOT
7. Fetch shoes from menders
8. [/STRIKE][STRIKE]encourage (NOT nag) hubby to do ironing (his job not mine)[/STRIKE](hubby not well but as I'm not back at work til next week the ironing will wait!

Orkneystar - I've used rum in my cake. I'm not that keen on brandy so I don't want to buy a bottle just for the cake so I got rum. I don't mind using up rum, no really, it's no problem......I soaked the dried fruit in it overnight (used Delia's recipe) and I'll feed it too. I just got it out of the oven (went in at 8 am) and if it tastes as good as it smells it should be lovely.

Valli - when my face hurts with sinus problems I often put some Vick along my cheekbones. Makes your eyes water (make sure you don't get it in your eyes!) but that seems to relieve the pressure, at least for a while.

orkneystar - well done on the list -what are you knitting? I'm making a pair of socks for my sister for C******** (can.t bring myself to type out the word, trying not to think about it at all, very bah humbug here!). I want to finish the toe shaping and graft the first one this afternoon.

toottifrootti - how's the bedroom going? Did you manage to get all the carpet bits done? This isn't a nag, I'm just very nosy!

Okay, I've been downtown with DS2, who has his new phone and is very happy, I've also had my haircut, so I'm happy, and DD is obviously feeling better today. I've had two cups of coffee, because I'm half asleep, and now really must get on with that bathroom!

Anyone any suggestions for dinner tonight? Can't think of anything...

Good afternoon everyone, been busy this morning with lots of different things and it's snowing here again.




Gonna have to go and get wee ones soon as our road is really bad and we might not get back up the lane. Hubby won't let me go without him as he thinks i can't drive in the snow.:rolleyes:

Right i better get sorted and most get food while i'm in the villiage incase we don't get out tomorrow.

Am knitting a fleecey hooded top for DS (aged 16 months). The wool is so soft. Also have another few things on other pins, incl socks for DH. I love doing socks .
What you got in food wise ? Then we might be able to suggest something. We are having toad with carrots and tatties.

Hmmmm, so Morgans should work then- I will need to find the recipe.
