    Happy Birthday Toochoosy

    Morning all

Two loads of washing out on the line, including my bedding. I got the winter duvet out this week, it's definitely cold enough now, and aired the summer one and packed it away. The sun is lovely but it was very icy this morning. I couldn't open the wheelie bin lid and the bird bath water was solid.

Dusted and vacuumed all the bedrooms, and vacuumed the landing and toilet/bathroom floors. Cleaned all the upstairs mirrors and wiped condensation off the windows. It's been really bad this week.

Dusted living room and vacuumed right through downstairs. I even emptied out the dog's toy basket and vacuumed it. She was a bit worried.....

I made my Christmas cake before I did all that and it smells lovely cooking, making me really hungry. I've got to check it at 12 o'clock. I haven't bothered to make one for years, just bought them, although I used to always make my own. It's so easy (assuming it turns out OK!) that I don't know why I gave up doing it. Haven't decided yet whether I'll ice it, I'm not that keen on icing and DH is diabetic so he can't eat much of it anyway.

    Back to read stuff now.

Hope you feel better soon GnB - and everyone else who is poorly.

    bdaysurprise.gifTooch - have a good one!

Thanks for missing me - I have now got a sore left cheek (think it might be sinus trouble as breathing slightly dodgy on that side too). Any way I have laid the blame squarely at DS door for the downstairs draught:rotfl: caused by him turning off his radiator and leaving the door open. Might not be down to him of course - but it's good training for marriage for him:rotfl: . So I spent last night sitting in the warm lounge holding it dramatically...

Level One - a chocolate bar
Level Two - £5 each (on the grounds that there's nothing on at the cinema)
Level Three - spaghetti and meatballs.

I'll come and help then too!:rotfl:
You need to do some pelvic floor exercises. It sounds like you have a weak pelvic floor. Just google it and you should find some info on how to do it.
Now didn't someone mention PF excercises in the summer?

Ooh I'd like to see THAt on youtube!
Just back from the doctors, i have anti diarrhoea and anti sickness tablets on prescription. I'm back to feeling rubbish again, i have terrible heartburn because i cant keep stuff down again. Its really weird, i actually feel ok in myself, as in i dont feel ill:confused: Just cant keep food down. Trying not to let it get to me and just get on with things.
    Hope you're feeling better soon...
My sister rang and wanted me to go to a softplay with her, other sister and all the nephews, but i have used Sam's gammy eye as a reason not to go. It is a long drive for me, and i can't really be bothered, and both boys are very coldy anyway. A chilled out day is needed for them i think. Plus they will be able to sit and natter, and i will end up having to chase Charlie round for hours.
Sounds like a good decision there - esp after their behaviour t'other week...

It was down to a photo Pigpen posted re Hull City football team who were doing a tour of the city because they had been promoted up to the 1st division (or summat), I saw it and thought, 'eh up, that's just down the road from me', mentioned it and away we went.:D
So THIS was the inaugural Flylady meet then, really!

 Rant time - I went to work yesterday and DS has informed me that while I was there the windowcleaners came and he paid them the whole house price (as opposed to the front which they do if they can't get round the back). Neither kid can remember SEEING them do the back windows but I have checked and they definitely HAVE NOT been cleaned...so I have told the kids they are NOT to pay them in future and I will be having CROSS words!

Anyway hope you all have a lovely day.

  • Well haven't really got started today, I am not so much flying as taxiing round the runway:rolleyes:

I have done stuff, posted ebay parcel. Been and collected some paperwork.
Got some forms to fill in as a favour for a friend.

    So now the nitty gritty
The bathroom is quite tidy, so I think I could spray it and leave to soak then go back and give it all a good wash down.
I will tidy the shelf in cloakroom, it is fast becoming a hot spot
and spray and clean in there.
I think I will spend most of day in office/conservatory/ironing room, making it feel better:o

If I get these done, I will try and get some baking done.
and some more stuff on ebay.

    Happy Birthday toochoosey
