Hmmm back to the grindstone I think.

Thanks for missing me - I have now got a sore left cheek (think it might be sinus trouble as breathing slightly dodgy on that side too). Any way I have laid the blame squarely at DS door for the downstairs draught:rotfl: caused by him turning off his radiator and leaving the door open. Might not be down to him of course - but it's good training for marriage for him:rotfl: . So I spent last night sitting in the warm lounge holding it dramatically...

Awh valli sinus pain is horrible - you poor wee thing! Take a couple of parrots to ease the pain and have a restful day - crack the whip and get the kiddlies working!!!!!:rotfl:
    toots xx

  • Well haven't really got started today, I am not so much flying as taxiing round the runway:rolleyes: Love it!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

I have done stuff, posted ebay parcel. Been and collected some paperwork.
Got some forms to fill in as a favour for a friend.

    So now the nitty gritty
The bathroom is quite tidy, so I think I could spray it and leave to soak then go back and give it all a good wash down.
I will tidy the shelf in cloakroom, it is fast becoming a hot spot
and spray and clean in there.
I think I will spend most of day in office/conservatory/ironing room, making it feel better:o

If I get these done, I will try and get some baking done.
and some more stuff on ebay.

    Happy Birthday toochoosey_party_
you have done loads so dont be too hard on yourself - all these extra bits soon begin to make a difference

    WM emptied
    DW put on
    Sink washing done
    Kettle counter cleared and wiped
    Food put away
Breadcrumbs made before old bread goes mouldy and put in freezer (dated as well!!!)
Stuff on shelves moved around, things I used lots were hiding behind drying clothes

Wet washing hung up to dry

My back is aching now so I need a rest. Think I'll put another load of washing on, work out what I can do for dinner and start that and then have a rest!

And thanks toottifrootti, at least then at the end of the day I can have a bit of a sense of achievement that I have done something when the house doesn't really look any different! Also I can show it to hubby to say that I haven't been sitting down doing nothing all day ;)

Thanks for all the good wishes about my back – it’s really appreciated!!

Triker – hope today is better for you than yesterday.
Toochoosey – happy birthday! Have a fab day! Xx
Rach – what an amazing cake, it looks fab. We had cats on ours (DH made them to look like the three we had at the time) and it had little mini footprints on it.
G&B – I’m glad you’ve been to the doctors and hope you get better soon. Hugs to you xx
Pink fairy – hiya, how’s things with you, nice to hear from you again.

My flying will be minimal again. I've got no feeling in my left leg but the right one hurts which is good as that means it's starting to improve. I hate backs :rotfl: .

Managed to take dogs for a walk this morning and spotty dog got attacked. Not badly but it's really upset me probably because I'm feeling a bit blah at the moment anyway. It really upset her too and she walked with her tail right between her legs and shaking. Luckily there was another lovely dog owner and we let spotty dog play with her dogs for ten minutes to make her a bit happier. When I got her home I've found blood on her back leg and stomach. It does look worse because she's white but i've made an appointment for the vets tomorrow as she still needs her kennel cough spray so I though she could get checked out too.

On a positive note - I can't do much because of back so i'm having a spotty dog cuddle which is fab.

    Hugs to all xx

It must be so hard but you're doing brilliantly. Keep resisting and come on here if you really fancy one. Someone on here will talk you out of it!!!!
