Just had a splashing time with the kids. Decided to put them in the bath cos DS1 was complaining he was 'sooooooo stinky' and they ended up drenching me, the floor, the walls and everything. It was really fun.

They are dressed again and munching on crackers watching nickjnr. Washing machine almost done, need to wash up dinner dishes then see what else needs doing.

    APOLOGIES!

The MoneySavingExpert.com forums database has a minor glitch. This should rectify itself quite quickly. Usually waiting 30 seconds and refreshing will have it working fine. We are currently working on a long term solution that should make the forums more stable.

I'm sitting here at work, feeling dead sorry for myself - not only have I still got toothache but I think I'm getting DH's Horrible Cold! Head feels full of cotton wool *bleugh*.
Tesco Trawl tonight (on my own, DH really should be in bed but when you run your own business as we do, you can't just schlep off (and our Production Manager is on hols this week).
Will try to catch up with the list when I get home - the bin men come tomorrow so all the bins need doing anyway. Then I'll clean the shower room and bathroom but will leave the walls etc until the weekend (hope I'm feeling better by then).
    I want my bed................

    Morning ladies!

    Daily list:
spray bathroom with bleach spray - OH
Feed the cat at least twicecat.gif - Oh will have to do this today
    Sort and reply to emails
    Complete an hours click thrus
    Do pending surveys

Knees still in a state - can't walk without help from my OH so the only flyladying I can do is computer stuff. After I posted yesterday I went back to bed and just kept crying on and off - think it was just the shock really. I feel more emotionally myself again today.

Juliejim, AnWsMum, galantvr4, Hollyh, Menolly, Vanila, lil_me - thank you for all the good wishes
    Great wallpapers sexymouse
Sarah - Thank you for asking about my friend. The good news is that they told him after his last scan last week that his cancer appears to have stopped growing for now. I put it all down to my amazing singing and support of course! :rotfl: :rotfl: It's a particularly virilent cancer and because he doesn't want chemo, it was eating away at him but he has actually put some weight on in the last 3 weeks too which the Dr says is a really good sign.

Have a huge hole in the garden now where the tree stump was, but also 5 new wooden 'stepping stones' for the lawn, a couple of interesting shaped logs for general garden atmosphere and a pile of logs waiting to be picked up from someone from freecycle. (Neighbour filled his wood shed already so these were spare)

*Hugs* to all and hope you all have a good day flying!

To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough.
If you can't handle me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best...
Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I will try again tomorrow.
  • Hugs again diva - it probably is the shock coming out - you had a nasty fall so just be patient and take it easy. You can catch up on your surveys and your cheque book!!!! No excuses now!!!!!
The garden soundslike it will be good with your new wood bits. And thats brilliant news about your friend - I am sure your support really did help - positive thinking can do wonders - lets hope it continues for him.
