You should be given time to do this - or could it not be done by an admin person...sounds like a routine task to me - ie not a teacher's job...
Very very true, but they never had much time so would only be okay if the exam board could wait for two weeks for itWe don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0

We haven't had a caller yet and I've got a bowl of sweets by the front door waiting! We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0

soappie, he sounds lovely, makes you wonder if he objects to these meetings why on earth he goes, some strange people out there.
rach, my trousers do that too, annoying isn't it as without that 'issue' they'd last loads longer (oh I wear the ankle area out on them too because I'm short and can't sew even short jeans are too long) hope you have a nice time. even short jeans are too long) hope you have a nice time.
pigpen ((more hugs)) blimey never rains for you does it, big hugs to you and your family x
froddy, pleased to hear you're sticking together eventually
kaz :rotfl: mine would probably want the worm too
toots I might have to pop over to Laura Ashley on Sunday, first chance I will get I think but might be something left, thanks for the info.
Awww I couldn't ignore the door there, was the little tiny tot from next door out trick or treating, she's only 2 bless her, in a big pumpkin outfit, she said, in her own cute way, 'trick or treat jingle bells' :rotfl: I think she's a bit confused, felt rather guilty as I had nothing really bought in for little ones her age, will have to remember next year if we're still here. Anyway probably the last one I will answer the door to tonight as I have just heard a firework go off, dogs going crackers as it is. Wish I could remove the doorbell but the darn things hardwired into the house. I am a meanie Mam who doesn't let her kids go out doing it, sorry, just something I don't agree with, they're going to a party on Monday anyway which I always make sure they get to do something instead, so can get dressed up then. That said we didn't have any call last year, but we had only just moved in so noone knew us or the kids.....hmm.....will see what happens.
I've unpacked 7 carrier bags so far, oodles more to go unfortunately but getting there. I have done another 3 loads of washing today, more of that too but likewise it's progress. DPs gone to work, after speaking to me to say 'whats for tea, I need to eat within 15 minutes' and 'bye' so suppose it's a start. Going to put my feet up and relax for a little while with the boys before I put them to bed, then do some more unpacking/washer switching.....might have to use the TD as the house looks like a laundrette. Still got no idea where I am going to store a huge pile of cushions out of the caravan.....One day I might be more organised...........

Younger two been out trick or treating - we are lucky we live in a lovely neighbourhood where most people know each other. Our front door is all decorated but not many kids around, I think it's due to half term.
To keep on topic no flying done but broomstick is in the hall and I hope somebody will cast a spell to make it sweep up all the leaves in the garden. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

 Tackled bedroom list this morning.
Went to see mum and they were having a wear something pink coffee morning for breast cancer. We had got mum and me pink cowboy hats and she loved hers. Wanted to have her lunch wearing it.
Had lunch at DDs then went to do my meeting and greeting.
Saw my eldest GGD in her little Halloween outfit. Her aunt is taking her to a couple of friends doors.
Will not be answering my door as we are having bother with young kids hanging round and drinking at the top of the street.

DOn't want to speak too soon, but we've only had one lot knock the door so far. We've usually had loads by now
DD1 said that they'd had a talk at school about trick or treating, and she was under the impression that it was now illegal. I know it isn't but, I didn't want to mess up the good work the school had done!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
We had some grotty little boys knock the door yesterday, I sent them packing.
 I wonder if us having an extremely loud barky dog has put the neighbourhood kids off? That and a dragon who refuses to give money to grotty teens who knock with one mask between 6 of em. :rotfl::rotfl: They get a small bag of sweets like the rest of em!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:MMSSB Club Founder Member
