Thanks - just what I need...
I have to say (bad mother confession) it has got much better now I don't rise and yell back...I just sat here calmly typing...so in 5 the storm had blown over...but it made him late because I then made him listen to why I thought his behaviour was unacceptable...looking up at him:rolleyes: he's about 6" taller than me now!

See, 5 minutes - that's all they can manage and then they've forgotten what they had the hump for in the first place...:rotfl: I do the same as you, let him rant and then apologise... DD is a totally different kettle of fish tho!

Definitely forgotten - it takes 3 weeks of nagging, 2 more of poking and then a whole month of sulking to get them to do anything (if you're lucky!) :D

Oh what a shame for you, we're all sorted thanks, we decided that we just couldn't do christmas here because OH is always on call, we work right up to christmas eve, back after boxing day and it wasn't any FUN, anymore.

We don't have close family or anything like that so we do our own thing so thought bugrit lets buzz off. Found florida cheaper than anywhere else hot so booked it and now just scrambling about finding the money.:o

Dollar going down dramatically against the pound does'nt help but what the heck, not bothered.;)

Pigpen - hugs for you.

Valli - next time find a way to record him getting overdramatic. Then threaten to show said GF :D I'd also be tempted to drive the reeeeealy long way round. But that's because i'm evil.

Johanne - she is adorable!! We've had no trick or treaters - i'm so upset!

Back from town - took far longer than I thought but train tickets were £5 cheaper than I was expecting - yay! Going in the shower now, putting my hair in rag rollers then I WILL TIDY UP. Promise. And post my list... Just not now because it's depressing.

To be honest, I don't mind as long as I'm getting away - holiday all paid for, just the spending money to sort out now, although nothing to pay for at home so works out about the same... :D

Been going away for Christmas for the last 2 yrs, this will be the third for same reasons as you plus we don't usually get much of a break in the summer as always busy with work then - it's just not fun at home any more, I run around everyones houses delivering pressies, back home to cook, dish up, wash up, etc, am totally kn@ckered by the end of it and usually need a break after it... had enough and we have a lovely time just the four of us... enjoy your break too!
