Back from my meeting. Presentation went very well except for one oik who wanted it put in the minutes that he objected to me doing the presentation at all because of my undoubted bias on the subject and self-glorification (or something!) when in fact I had made it completely unbiased and totally factual.

Fortunately everyone else at the meeting disagreed with him so whilst his protest has been minuted, another minute has been added shooting it down in flames. :D I was congratulated by several people afterwards - they found it interesting and learnt a lot from it.

Bedding on the line is nearly dry but not quite so I'll go off to Mr. T in a moment for the weekly shop then sort out my bedroom when I get back.

Ha, well done Soappie, glad it went well and that the only person was shot down - always makes you feel better when that happens - knew you'd pull it off well...:T :T

I am now being screamed at by a 15 yo who wants me to take him to his GFs - well he is now swearing and door slamming.

    This will be interesting...

Not only are they noisy, 'orrible little oiks, they often blow out of steam really quick and end up sulking a lot before storming off out the front door... give it 5... ;)

Just been reminded by OH that

tax and insurance runs out on my car today........

    Need to pay leccy bill,

pay off balance of our christmas escape plan,

    carve pumpkins,

    wash clothes,

    tidy house,

    declutter our bedroom,

    get chicken food,

    have a shower,

go through old clothes, coats and shoes,

find somewhere for coats, shoes and boots to live,

deposit dead soggy mouse that cat killed in the bin,

find an industrial tin of hotdogs,

and finish the hallway, stairs and landing off.

Oh and I want to make a cake in my remoska.:eek:

Thanks - just what I need...
I have to say (bad mother confession) it has got much better now I don't rise and yell back...I just sat here calmly typing...so in 5 the storm had blown over...but it made him late because I then made him listen to why I thought his behaviour was unacceptable...looking up at him:rolleyes: he's about 6" taller than me now!
