Well in my HHC I managed to hang out a load of washing, empty all of the bins and put the big bin out on the boundary for the binmen, cleaned the telephone on the desk with a telephone wipe, drunk a cup of tea and talked to a neighbour. Feel a bit dizzy and sick from bending down to the washing basket as I've got a bit of a cold at the mo that's affecting my ears, so will make an early lunch and then get on again after lunch.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

  • Pigpen - so sorry to hear all your news. Big hugs, hun. x

Sadly, I am back from the doctor's with Amoxycillin 500mg for a week and a sick note dated 3/11/08 due to chest infection, so I am unfortunately off work for another week.

    Lunchtime/town for grocery shopping x

  • Hi all
Been MIA for a few days, haven't had any time at all. Saw Burn after Reading last night - George Clooney just isn't the same with a furry face. Good film though!
Had 30 pages of thread to catch up on so have missed some things I think, hugs to everyone who needs them, especially Chunky - you aren't a bad mother in any way. Both my parents worked full time so I had a nanny since I was about 1 year old, started nursery early as well, and I think it was definitely the best thing for my mum and dad to do. Accepting help is a much better option than being overwhelmed!
Going into town to run a few errands in a few minutes, getting a costume for Rocky Horror theme night in the pub tonight and a hot water bottle before i freeze to death. Then home to fly for a bit before work at 8. Cup of coffee before I go i think. Anyone else? :coffee:
