Chunky..... Don't be afraid to ask for help. Its the responsible thing to do. You know you are struggling so it's the best thing for your own wellbeing and for you kids. They want a happy mum, not a miserable mum if you get what i'm saying.
I know what you going through, I suffered from PND after both my kids and was scared to ask for any help... but the day i screamed at my 3 month old baby i knew i needed that help!

(((HUGS))) hunni. Do what you need to do.

  • Boddy - sorry I forgot to thank you for the welcome back.:o

Chunky - thank you for the good luck wishes. I can only do my best (Or as William Booth apparently said to his granddaughter "That's not good enough. You must do better than your best!")

Also - You are not a bad Mummy. (Coz if you are that would make me a bad one too!:rotfl:)
    • Both mine ended up full time in Nursery by default. They started off part time, but others didn't take up places so they were offered more. I can honestly say that they both loved it. They got to meet other children, play with different toys, learn to share - there's 7 years between mine. They developed a measure of independence and it prepared them for the slightly tougher world of "big school". Having said that, someone forgot to close the connecting door, so DD tried "big school" early coz she went exploring. I did warn them she'd wander given the chance, but did they listen (Mrs Workman - you were lovely!) It also turned out that DD was "bright" having a reading age of 12 at 7 years old, so Nursery probably helped her a great deal.
    • For you - if you have an appointed time, you can do all the stuff that LO hate such as shopping, housework, but............ you can also get the "me" time you richly deserve to make you the "Yummy Mummy" you are!
    • This will mean that when you are with your small people, you will all enjoy the quality time you have.
Now keep repeating SarahShattered's mantra and go book a place!!!

Oh no..... you've got me started now!!

I think one of the problems we all face these days is that we're expected to do everything... look slim and beautiful, give our children life-enriching experiences, work, run the home, exercise, cook stunning, healthy meals from scratch, having sourced the best, locally produced low carbon-footprint food, and smile while we're doing it all!

It's just not possible. So many of our mother's generation were on tranquilisers, or drinking "Mother's Little Helper". And I don't think they were expected to perform in the way that we are.

Give yourself a break girlie, you've got loads on your plate. And it sounds like you're doing really well too.

Well massive thanks for the well wishes and i have defiantely made mind up, also just quickly had a chat with OH on msn and he says go for it.

Also been looking up about mirena coil, which i know is coming out on 26th of november. I am usually bubbly, happy go lucky nothing stresses me out etc... in all honesty i have been hiding behind a front for a while "Oh look i am doing well" kind of thing. Apparently its can cause depression!!!! Lots of reports of it on the net
so i will have to see how i feel once its out, lots of people say within 10 to 12 days they feel so much better having not realised they felt that bad it wasn't until it was removed that they realised. My mum has been saying for months i have been a nightmare. Maybe its that or maybe its just the fact that i have got alot on??? I suppose i will know midway through december.

I cannot believe how much better i feel for actually admitting it and thankyou again!! i needed it xx

Is anyone up for a HHC 11-11.30?

I'm going to finish getting dressed and make a cup of tea before I start if anyone wants one?
