    Morning all

    Happy Hallowe'en !

Hope you managed to get some sleep in the end Lil-me. Weather's still looking fair so I'm going to get my bedding in the washing machine after my bath so it can line dry while I'm out this morning. Woke up to the smell of fresh bread which is lovely (set the BM going on the timer just before I went to bed last night). Mushrooms on toast for breakfast I think.

Right, off to jump in the bath and then have another cup of tea

Good morning all - not caught up but I will later.

It is D Day for the boys party and I am nowhere near ready. This will be the first day I have been home, at least it will be after I have taken DS1 to an appointment this morning. DH was meant to take the day off to help but has an interview in London instead and then is collecting SS2 at short notice so he wont be here till after it has started! In laws are due some time, haven't a clue when. DSS1 is here and will be helping to decorate which is great.

    To do
    pretty much everything.

Need to take deep breaths, and then do 15 mins in each room. I must stop by 12.30 as I then need to make food, and again by 1.30pm to sort the decorating. Collecting boys at 3. Party 4-6pm, then dinner for FIL later on.
Must go to co-op as well.

Can you see me hyper ventilating? If you see my light on later please boot me off.

Thanks for the suggestion re the laptop Lil me, I got a replacement key and spring form e-bay and my lovely DH fixed it. I bought DSS1 a laptop from Dell that is due to come today after which my nice one will not be left lying round anymore. Does that demonstrate that I am a nice step-mother?

Hugs to those in need, good to se you back Pink Fairy, hope your interview went well and hello to any newbies. Good luck with the move summermoon!

  • Brilliant, mmmm, I love firemen, don't know why, it is def got to be a uniform thing...:D
Uniforms do it for me too, but not the calendar pin-ups.
My father and grandfather were both firemen so I see them differently.

Morning all and thanks to those I pm'd for my display - it's back!:T

Lil_me - huge hugs, hun, don't know what else to say, but you know where we are and feel free to pm any time!

Confessions - even when I Googled TWP, I got "The Washington Post" so I don't think that's right somehow! :o:rotfl::o:rotfl::o:rotfl:

My 24 year old daughter has just joined the TA and is looking forward to being mobilised and also considering the "Regulars"

Off to doc's at 11.30, so best try and fly a bit before then. I need to finish the den before my visitors arrive later today. The cough's got the better of me, so hoping for some antibiotics (and another week off work - can you tell how much I love my job?) Supposed to be at my brother's tonight for a family party - won't be riotous as only DH and DD drink, but will be good fun anyway, always is, and we're looking at more Family History stuff!:rotfl:

I've SS'd bathroom and shower room, made beds, fed menagerie so far. Off to SS kitchen and then tackle the den.

    See you later, maybe. x

PS My "Thanks" button is working again.
