    Right I'm here properly now

Goodmorning all - hugs to all who need them - you know who you are

and a big thank you to all flyers because the support you extend to each other is fantastic ... someone posts a problem, a worry and there you are - it's brilliant and I am proud to be a flyfriend..

Sorry - been to do my errand in the breezy but sunny weather and I feel full of the joys ... clearly I am struggling when it's dull and damp... so I must make hay while the sun shines, as it were...

What do ya think am i a bad mummy? I have decided to put little gremlin in a nursery for a couple of mornings a week. I need a break but feel really really guilty now and i haven't even enrolled him just thought about it! With OH working away, a job, 4 kids and the house to sort i think i now have to admit i am stuggling a little and don't want it to get too far so i am seeing this as being responsible and taking charge, but am i? Oh god knows what to do. I can't talk to my mum cos she will just say yes good idea, purely as it means i won't call on her for anything!!!

As others have said - absolutely not...you are doing something positive to stop you going under - totally sensible. Moreover research has shown that children who do attend nursery/playgroup/toddler group are more independant, better able to cope at school and we clearly see a difference in those kids who have socialised and are used to being away from mummy/home. My daughter went to a playgroup which she loved and I actually signed her up for more sessions because on the day she wasn't going she would stand at the door (it was on route home from school run) and beg to go in...at the end of the session she would run up to me and wail 'why have you come?' the ladies found it hysterically funny...she took to school like a duck to water. You are absolutely doing the right thing - and try to have a treat time for yourself during your free time - don't run round flying! Definitely a sensible decision and if you aren't getting support from family that is even more reason to go for it.

Me.. 5 of the children had sicky bugs, my bunny died, a neighbour of 25 years died my uncle died (funeral in an hour) MIL is being her usual hateful selfish self GIL (gran) is ill and she won't look after her and keeps threatening to put her in a home which is not the right place.. erm.. college is chaos and noone is pulling their weight in here.. and today.. I can't walk.. and I can't sit.. and I need a wee and the loo is upstairs!

And no you are not a bad mum you are working your hardest to keep a nice home and look after the children and you cannot do everything little one will have a fabulous time at nursery and you will feel so much better for the break.. I would have danced down the street the first day I was childfree given a chance.. even if it was only for 3 hours!

Don't even get me started on mirena coils.. I have a few horror stories on that one.. it almost cost my friend her life and did cost her the life of her twins.. 1 was lost at 8 weeks and the other at 16 weeks after the coil dislodged.. evil devices!
