Sat here crying my eyes out, DPs just phoned. He's been offered a job and he's considering taking it. Working in a very hostile country. I can't stop crying. He's just bothered about the money. He's turning nasty with me on the phone saying I am trying to stand in his way of doing something. Sorry but damn right I am, I can't lie and say I am happy that he wants to do it. Sorry you lot don't need this but I have noone else to talk to about it. An old friend of mine was killed last year working for the same company, something that just makes me realise even more what hurt it can cause including for the children and partner he left behind. I just can't stop crying, it's upset me so much, I may say I hate his moods sometimes and other things like that but this is just awful, I can't describe in words how much it hurts that he's even thinking about it.

Hugs Honey, I don't know what to say to make it any easier, maybe he'll realise once you get together and he sees how upset you are. Men, they think they have to provide for us and that's all their job is - they don't think of the other stuff do they?
    Take care, D

AnWsMum you read my mind, email draft waiting for me to edit when I feel less emotional, I doubt it even makes sense in it's current form. Triker, yes, same company his mother works for (who he's called all the names under the sun for going) and my friend did, supposedly they're offering him an engineering role (what he's qualified to do) but I think either he or they are talking crap, he's always been the agressive and emotionally resiliant type, hence the way he is now, he matters to him, never sure if anything else does, he's never been the type to show something hurts him in any way, his Mother is the same hence she manages fine (being honest I think she's a totally ignorant b.....) . Valli, maybe you're right, maybe I should be packing his bags for him, he's never been perfect, I do love him however for some strange reason. Soappie, very wise words as always, I think that you will be right, I have said I won't stop him but I can't lie saying I support him. Thank you all for your lovely messages and understanding, it just all hit me so much and I needed to talk to someone without talking ( I can't mention it in front of the boys as they have anxiety issues as it is)

Hails just come down so loud I can't hear the TV next to me, DS2s thankfully slept through it, DS1s still awake and a bit fretty about it, so going to try to keep him busy. Now started thunder & lightning too, weird, DS1 not impressed!

Hugs lil_me. It sounds like you're going through such a horrible time at the mo and its never easy when you're the one who seems to have to make all the comprises.

Of course you do - no what I meant was if it had been my hubby (either of em!) I'd have packed - yours is probably much nicer than either of the sh1ts I ended up with - still I was doing womankind a favour and keeping them out of the general population:rotfl: Number 3 - if there ever IS one should be an absolute honey - because I have served my time. I actually PHYSICALLY shoved number 1 out..I was very proud that I had stood up to him because, among other things I was working F/T (no kids) and he wasn't...bone idle he was...and he actually thought I needed him to make my tea...total waste of space - isn't love blind...
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: same here! I google loads of them (or ask DS or DD...)

Too tired to say much... have worked pretty much flat out since last post (?just after midnight on Wednesday morning?) and have now caught up and am planning to go to bed! Kitchen is a bomb site, but rest of house pretty much OK due to lack of time spent in it.

Lots of work still to do, so not sure how much will get done tomorrow (would like to clear kitchen surfaces!). I have to clear out garage & then pack up utility this w/e as am away next weekend, and work starts on utility on Nov. 10th.

Valli - sinus problems, find a decongestant (non-drowsy for daytime, but don't take it at night, or you'll stay awake!) and try menthol crystals for inhalations

Toots, Rach, got your messages & will be in touch when I'm properly awake!

    Lil_me - hugs

GnB - my mother ended up in isolation in the high dependency unit after a tummy bug. It was a novovirus (winter vomiting virus, the kind you get on cruise ships and in holiday resorts), and could have arrived on a letter or the shopping). Make sure everyone in your house knows to wash their hands frequently and always before they touch their face/eat. Also if you have more than one loo, have one for them and one for you... You should be losing weight. If you aren't, then you may have further infection and be developing oedema, so keep an eye out. Drink plenty of fluids, and get someone to get you some rehydration salts, and try to eat something (how about chicken stock?) to keep your energy levels up.

    Hugs/congrats as appropriate!

Good luck with the presentation tomorrow Soappie, I'm sure they'll take notice once you get going - got no choice really have they! tell them you're going to ask questions at the end to make sure everyone gets it ;)...

Night all, need to go to bed as very tired and am up at 5.30am so really want some sleep... see you all tomorrow...

PS. Valli, have PM'd you back...
