oooooooooooooooh that sounds brilliant - I would have wanted to keep mine on too!!!!Went to see mum and they were having a wear something pink coffee morning for breast cancer. We had got mum and me pink cowboy hats and she loved hers. Wanted to have her lunch wearing it.

Finally had some callers - 4 little kids with their parents at the top of the drive. As they all said 'trick or treat' , one of the kids, piped up say 'please'. They all looked so sweet in their frightening costumes.....and I got a 'thank you' from all of them.We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0

The thing is Toots, mums hat had chicks on tour on the front. We told her and she really laughed. She also kept feeling the fluffy trim on it. Got some great pics.0

maybe they are thinking its safer and easier to have a party instead of trailing about?Still no callers.......usually get lots of little kids with parents. Wonder if more are having parties and so not trick or treating

Boddy - that's great about your Mum and the pink hat. Have they taken her to a tea dance again? I remember you said she really enjoyed that.
