I am only on page 10 of this thread, it is honestly great, MSE should publish these threads as stories! Oh the drama in the lead up to the first meet....Annie's car would not start!!! So interesting to see people busy for various reasons and people with best intentions not being able to make it!! Then as time went on, that woman in the cafe OMG i can't believe she said that, especially in these economic times you think she would want your custom, and then Cat's frozen shoulder Oh the drama was all too much and I had to come and post before I read on to find out how Bristol went! .......................

Hope you all have a lovely time im sure you will couple of words of advice from an previous OS meeter...........Keep buying Jackie O lots of gin its very good for her health and she can tell a fab story :A Keep that Rzl out of any nightclub but especially Flares - shes a proper tinker when she gets going ;) Caterina is full of OS wisdom and worth an ear or two Sorry I havent met the rest of you but im sure it will be a roaring success. Hi Ya Nelski, sounds like I am an old soak:rotfl::rotfl:,I'd love to have a drop of 'Mother's ruin' but sadly I will be driving. so its coke for me on Sunday:mad:.Still it will be good to meet up with some old faces and some new ones as well. I am really looking forward to it.We did have a good time in Blackpool though didn't we, lots of vino collapsio:D
I have just got back from picking up my DD and her pals from her firms Christmas thrash.They have all had a great time and I am just pleased that everyone all got home safe.My DD is almost 40 but it seemed like the years had dropped away tonight and I was back to taking all her and her daft pals home and making sure they all got indoors o.k.
I am off to the land of Nod now ,

JackieO - Not to worry, I'll have some gin on your behalf My stick is dark blue (though I may not have it with me) and I'll probably be wearing a silver grey fake-sheepskin jacket and grey or black trousers. Can't find the safety pins! Has your DD got a hangover today?

Goodness, I just batted my eyelids and everybody posted at once! Great to see so many posts keeping the home fires going!

Sorry for those of you who cannot make the meet but please do organise one in your neck of the wood, for me it is a great excuse to travel!

Looking forward to tomorrow and have absolutely NO IDEA what I am going to wear, so you just got to look out for me!

BTW I haven't yet found a safety pin, either!
