I'm now going to Taste of Christmas on Saturday, got my day's round the wrong way!
I wouldn't mind meeting up for a coffee/catch up.
What time are you planning to be at the show?
I also have tkts from ES.
PM me if you are up for it
LLWas hoping to go but cos we are doing well in Eurpose a lot of our games are on Sundays now. Have Sat free tho - does anyone want to join me at Taste of Christmas? I have won 2 tickets form the Evening Standard but fmate has to try to work and if he doesnt have work then he cant afford the tube fares across London.
Shame the meet is on the wrong day as I have loads of samples and MOCS that I can or dont use to give out all bagged up and ready for the meet.We are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars........................0 -
I'll be thinking of you all, have a great os time, and hopefully i'll be able to make it to one of your meets in the future. Please put posts on about your day it would be really interesting to read. I'm thinking of changing my name to the addict.0

BUMP!
So sorry I can't make Saturday Reverbe, but going to London on Saturday would leave me too knackered to go to Greenwich on SundayMy husband always has to come with me as it is, or I wouldn't be able to go further than the local shops in case I become exhausted (in which case I can't remember how to get home )
Caterina I wondered if you had caught flu when you said your husband had it. Glad you're feeling a bit better, hope to see you on Sunday. Will have to bring hubby with me, unless he decideds to disappear to the Maritime Museum while we chat0 -
Hi all
Today I am feeling a bit better and hope (Please please!) to be completely well on Sunday for the meet.
Marie, you will be very welcome to stay, no worries at all - if I do not feel strong enough to cook we have takeaway, that's all! (same for Savingforoz on the Saturday night).
Icey77, it will be great to see you, we have old and new OSers, this is not an exclusive club (well, it is, really, closed to the non-OSers LOL)!
Reverbe, sorry you cannot make this one, but since you will be meeting my good friend Lilac Lillie on Saturday, you will be having your little alternative meet, so that's good too!
Ivyleaf, thank you for your kind words, yes I did catch the flu by nursing my husband I think, that's one of the pleasures of married life innit? hehehe
bunnytoo, next time you will make it too I hope, so we will change your name to youtoo!
See you all on the day! xxxFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Just thinking of packing as I am going to London to-morrow, looking forward to Sunday and meeting lots of people....Ivyleaf I have to bring my OH with me everywhere too so am glad to hear that he will not be the only man there...we can put them in their own corner if they annoy us!
Glad to hear that you are feeling better Caterina....takeaway sounds good to me

Thankyou for the invitation, I hope to be able to make it. Could someone PM me the details - when, where etc etc.
Is there any OS Meetup ettiquette I should be aware of?

Icey, look up the first post, I have edited it with all the details and how to get there. If you still have problems please pm me.
Hope to see you there on the day,
Love
Caterina
PS: re. etiquette, I don't think so - in past meetings we used to wear a safety pin on the lapel to be recognised, but not sure whether people are still doing this. Maybe we should try and do it, as the pub is quite big and this is a good way to recognise each other. What do others think? Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
I should be able to get there - what time? I couldn't see it on the first post but I have been known to trip over very large objects beforeWhether you think you can or you can’t, you’re probably right ~ Henry Ford0

oooooooh Caterina, I like the sound of safety pins on lapels.
Must admit I was wondering how we'd recognise each other. It wouldn't be the first time I have approached strangers in public places though
I have a very funny story about the self same thing in Bulgaria once....................do remind me to tell all!

You are right I never put the time there, have sorted it now, put down from 12 noon to 4pm, so that at least some of us can get there early-ish to claim at least some seating space and then others can come in when they want.
See you all there on Sunday, with a safety pin on your lapel! Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0
