Theres so much information out there for electronic cigarettes, but personally probably The Best Electronic Cigarettes site is a good place to start. Packed full of info and stuff!

    Hope it helps!

Er I don't think so :( They are just linking/affiliated to green smoke - over priced & a very poorly rated e-cig :(
  • Electronic cigarettes are new in market. It helps to quit smoke as it feels same like real cigarettes emitting artificial smoke however they do not contain any tobacco. The Electronic cigarette consists of a nicotine cartridge containing liquid nicotine which is not danger at all. Thus you can enjoy smoking without any health hazards.
  • Has anybody recently dealt with these folks onlyecig.com ? If so, how did it go? Did you order their pen style ecig and if so how did it function?

    Thanks
  • Hi all . Can I join in? I am a pretty experienced vaper . Ciggie free for almot 2 years . 30 a day bloke and ued to very strong stuff . I belong to many a forum and I have certain views on the e-cig market . Briefly I started on the " the kit " . Not a bad way to start , however it can become a rather expensive avenue to go down . The average e-cig is made up of an atomiser , mouth piece and battery . Atomiers are strange things . They can work for a good while or blow out after a very short while and indeed not work at all . Typically trhe battery is made to look like a cigarette, often with a glowing end , but can be expensive to buy .

However there are devices called mods . Likely more expensive than a kit but in the long term much cheaper . They use batteries that are can be recharged but are very cheap to purchase. I have a passthrough, a usb supported device so no battery required . Great when sitting in front of the computer and I have 3 or 4 other devices that are portable . All of which are made by a top geezer called Gary Dibley . Gary is a first class bloke and will do all he can to offer good service. Scroll down the linky and you will see them.

That site supports a forum of which Gary is a member and he has always responded very quickly to PMs I have sent to him.

Quick word regarding e-juice. The vast majority sold , I believe 80% of the market , is manufactured by Dekang in China . I find their products to be very adequate . I have had slightly better ones but paid out a whole bunch more for them . My choice of supplier is http://strictlyejuice.com/ .Based in California they will ship free of charge and their prices are superp . On top of that I think there is voucher code in use . If you type in 10 percent that discount will apply . Free hipping on a 10 dollar order or above.

If any newbie vapers would like to ask qustions , shoot . I will do my best to help you .

Phew, just managed to read all 25 pages and checked out a couple of links and thought time for a fag. How ironic! I'm 32 with two kids and been smoking since I was 16. I've tried quitting so many times and used pretty much all NRT products - patches, gum, inhalator, champix, Allen Carr and that hypnotist bloke CD as well as will power. All have worked for a brief period but I always find myself drifting back to the fags.

I've got to stop the real cigarettes and e cigs seems like a good switch. They stink, make me cough up cr*p, make me chesty and unfit, are ruining my skin and teeth and cost a fortune.

I'm going to be naughty and go for a cigarette and then I will go and read the other forum and check out the You Tube links. It has been lovely to read the journeys already made and hopefully I will be able to add mine for posterity.

I have been using elecronic cigarettes for 3 years now and after using them for 6 months managed to totally give up traditional cigarettes. In my opinion they are a lot healthier than normal cigs, but the best option is not to smoke normal or electric cigarettes. I currently use this a model called "Sunrise Pro Electronic Cigarette" (I am a new member and cannot post links so you will have to google that name am afraid.

If you do want to try e cigs, my advice is:

    1. Get one with a decent battery so that it last a long time
    2. Get one that the refills are well priced as this will save you a fortune
    3. Make sure flavours you like are available (I like traditional so makes no difference to me)

And of course the price for the starter kit.

On the recommendation of a friend, my husband has started using an e-cigarette and chose the starter kit from 'OKSmokey'. Having used it for 2 months now, we have concluded that if you are used to ready made cigarettes then you might find all the fiddling around with a e-ciggie rather frustrating (battery changing, cartridge topping up etc). If you're used to roll ups, then it's not much more bother. It is an amazing little gadget- no desire for a 'real' cigarette, no fumes, and improvement to health was immediate. Oksmokey have very helpful customer service, so give them a call for advice.
